This is one of the best investments I have made for my dedicated home theater. I already owned the original Apple TV (which I moved to my bedroom). At first, I was unsure if this was "really worth" the additional cost...but after having had the opportunity to use the old version and new version simultaneously...I would have to say it is worth it. Siri is a feature that is worth the additional cost alone. Having the opportunity to simply speak what you are looking for...and have Siri do the searching.... is so much more efficient. Siri will search Hulo, Netflix, iTunes, etc simultaneously. I've saved money using this feature on more than one occasion. (Siri found movies available on Netflix/Hulu that I would have likely paid to rent through iTunes had I used try original Apple TV). I am unsure of how much value I will get from the storage capacity...but time will tell. I always go for the largest capacity storage on items like this...better safe than sorry, right?

I actually own both a Roku device and an Apple TV. Both are very similar in many ways. For most folks, one OR the other would be fine. But I'm a geek, so I have both! :-) Anyways, now that the Apple TV supports third party apps in a new app store, it's a competitive offering to Roku and it's huge app store. I like the Apple TV's support for gaming and that all the major video on demand retailers, including Netflix, Hulu, M-Go, CinemaNow, Crackle, HBO, etc., are on the Apple TV. I also like that this new version doesn't come with all the bloatware (unwanted apps) that were on the previous devices. There are still a couple of minor rough spots around the edges with the software, but nothing to be concerned about. I recommend forking over the additional $50 bucks to get the 64 GB memory, if you can afford it. With the long support timeframes for Apple products like this, it'll likely come in handy over the years. Plus, it'll allow you to download more apps & games.

Honestly do not even hesitate. Go out and buy this apple TV right now and sell or give away your old one. Faster, nicer, and you can now install applications like Plex! Make sure you update right away out of the box!

I love my 4th generation Apple TV. The speed and ease of use is even better then the 3rd generation version. If you love Siri you will love being able to use your voice to look for things. Once Apple adds in a few features. (Calendar searching.. Cough cough) it will be perfect.

We love our Apple TV and use it for all our home tv viewing. The updated model is even better -- we love the ability to add apps and play games. Looking forward to seeing what new apps and games become available!

Really like the new Apple TV, it has all of the same features from the old one with Siri now and you can alsodownload games and play the with your remote. Your remote is motion sensors which allows you to play games with it as you can with the wii. Pretty cool feature.

Obviously the biggest downside to this device is its price tag. However, I am very pleased with its performance and my family enjoys the new games that are now able to played on this device. All the games are pretty much identical to what you get on iPhone and iPad, but it is nice to play some of them away from home and then finish from big screen at home. Apple quality is always top notch and this device is no different. If you don't mind paying the premium price over other streaming devices this is a great middle ground between expensive gaming devices and low priced streaming devices.

The remote is one of the biggest improvements. The touch pad makes it so easy to go forward or backward in a show, and the controls are very responsive and precise. Siri support is very helpful, allowing me to ask for what I want rather than spending a lot of time clicking through menus. I love the fact that I can now download apps and play games on the Apple TV. I had a hard time deciding between the 32 and 64 GB models. I went ahead and got the 64, but it's too early to tell whether the extra storage was necessary for me.

The new Apple TV is another great apple product. Fast setup. Even faster if you have an iPhone. It will get much needed info from your iPhone. Siri works well. Scrolling on the new remote is fast and effortless. Remote is rechargeable and comes with a charging cord.

I had a previous Apple TV (gen 2) and decided to upgrade for all the newer features, better remote and ability to use apps. While the apps are still a bit sparse (I am waiting for some nice games) the device is better than the oiler version and has great potential.

Many new features from previous generation Cool you can get apps now and there are a bunch of apps to choose from I had a gen 4 Apple TV before this and loved it. Lots of potential in this newest offering

We had the original Apple TV in all our rooms and upgraded to the New Apple TV in our living room. Love it so far, can play games on big screen, I hope they bring more apps soon and eventually add Safari.

Initially the 64GB is $199.99 but of course Best Buy had it on sale for $159.99 and I had $10 in rewards so my Apple TV 64GB was only $149.99 yep the EXACT same price as the 32GB!! Awesome deal, I made sure I got it for my new 55 inch 4K Samsung tv, I saw people reviews complaining that the Apple TV doesn't have that Amazon app, well if you had a SAMSUNG TV then you would automatically have the Amazon Instant Video app and won't be upset that it isn't on the Apple TV. Me and my son have iPhones and iPads so the Apple TV was the better deal for the 4K Samsung tv, my son has the Amazon FireTv stick in his room plus his new XBOX ONE S is its own streaming device and have a lot of the EXACT same streaming media apps over WiFi like Starz, Encore, Showtime Anytime and HBO GO. This Apple TV was a great deal and I'm glad that I bought it and got it as the exact same price as the 32 GB

Superb product. allows one to enter and enjoy a universe of Apps - many great Apps are free - in a multitude of categories, from news to comedy, entertainment, international channels, foreign languages, music and more! A significant change from the previous edition of Apple TV is the ability to download many games - many free - designed specifically for Apple TV - the included Apple TV remote can be used as the Game Controller! The Apple TV remote works smoothly, and the voice-control function in the remote works very well. I recommend this product highly!!

What a magnificent picture, quick load times and ease of use. I have converted from PC to MAC and this product makes it complete. The reason that I gave it a 4 instead of a solid 5 was the Amazon app is not available. As far as I can find it. Now I am having to go back to the Smart TV in order to get to Amazon. This doesn't mean that it isn't available but I can't find it.

I like my new 4th gen Apple TV; it has a simple interface, it's easy to install and use, and it has most apps I wanted and some I didn't even know I wanted. It also allows me to create a Homekit Hub (*of sorts), which allows me to leverage Siri to control a few smart devices I own. The above withstanding, without an Amazon Prime Video app (*both Apple & Amazon's fault, contrary to popular internet opinion), I end up using my Smart TV's interface rather than switching back and forth since my Smart TV has apps for Netflix & Prime Video. This is my only gripe and the reason for 4-stars instead of 5 since otherwise the device meets my expectations.

Already own the 2nd generation and really enjoy the AirPlay feature with other iOS devices. The main reason to buy new Apple TV is that the device start supporting App Store. And it's really work well. Planing to purchase a steelseries game controller to make the Apple TV becomes a fantastic game console. Nice job! But would be nice to support 4K and lower the price.

Upgraded from the previous Apple TV, the app store is really coming along and makes this a great device. I also like that you are able to control your TV on/off along with volume from the remote. The touch control does take some getting used to at first.

Where do I start? I absolutely Love Love Love Love Love my AppleTv Much easier to use than the previous generation, great apps, HD feed, love using it with my MacBook Pro. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves sports, the ESPN app is phenomenal.

i find the new Apple Tv way better than the old model it is faster and the definition is amazing especially for those who have a 4K TV you see the difference in the quality of the picture immediately I highly recommend this product... Way to go Apple
