From AppleTV to this new version, is a must. The system is very responsive and much faster. The only downside is that you loose the Optical Audio port, besides that, everything runs smooth.

If you're into Apple Products and have music in your library, this is the best item for you. You can play your music and use different apps with this box. I would recommend this to anybody.

Great new interface. Extra storage means less lagging while watching shows. Regular software updates.

Absolutely the best gift ever. This item is great for a college student who is living on campus over 800 miles away and the college campus tv network only has 5 stations. Very awesome gift.

A very cool piece to add to my entertainment center. I love being able to stream music videos, different albums, and watch my shows through the apps. Only thing I don't like is not being able to search for artists specifically within the music app and Youtube through the voice remote

The interface looks great, decent amount of apps, my service provider is not signed up for single sign on, this is frustrating. Otherwise, really like the TV channel apps.

I love the SIRI remote to rewind, fast forward with precision. Apps are nice so you can pick and choose what channels you get. Easy install. Works great with Apple ecosystem.

It's great! Happy with my purchase! Remote is a little scary...it's small and ultra sensitive. But found if we should ever loose this small remote regular tv remotes work with it as well.

We looked up reviews before and got recommendations from friends. All loved it. At first we couldn't figure it out but the next day when we turned it on all the bugs were fixed and it worked perfect! You can do everything with Apple TV. Games,tv, movies, shop. The new remote is super fun and helpful. It's basically using my phone on a larger viewing screen. Even my kids can run it. Sometimes that is good. We love this product.

I expected something similar to a Roku, but I must say I was very impressed with the ease of set up and working with my iPhone. To set up, I just held my phone close to Apple TV and it read my network set up and transferred all the information. Boom, done. As for operation, my iPhone also works as a remote and allows me to enter text searches using my phone. The only reason for 4 stars, the Apple TV does not currently support Amazon or Sling. Overall great product and easy to use. Highly recommended.

I love the integration with my iPhone for screen casting and the interface for apps like Hulu and Netflix is great, but i want to “cut the cord” and there is still no facility for live network tv and sports!

This was a gift bought for my daughter. She now enjoys watching TV and playing games on appstore.

If you are familiar in using an iPhone or iPad, then this is for you. Super easy to use and is just like using your iPhone with a giant screen. The only drawback is the movies, which tend to cost $5.99 to rent for new releases, which in my opinion, is pricey. I'll stick to Redbox or Netflix for that. Google Chromecast and my Amazon Fire Stick, do similar things, but the sleek interface and iPhone/iPad integration makes this worth it.

streaming seamlessly from ios or mac to the apple tv is a breeze to set up and to operate. it is so easy my dad can do it (with minimal questions). there are however an annoying amount of glitches. i have only had one software update since i bought it. add a lackluster app line-up and you might say i have compromised faith in apple's belief in the product. needs more stimulus. the remote is neat. the software needs work, but it is pretty good in its current state. if you have a roku throw it away.

Apple proves me time and again that I'm wrong. This is the one product that I resist from buying thinking it's useless but they proved me wrong. I just love the product.

The remote is a lot better than the first model, easier to control. Only complaint is the price.

It's Apple TV. It's everything you expect it would be. This is my 4th Apple TV so I was just adding to another TV. The latest model is fast and I like the SIRI feature.

When I took it out of the box and hooked it all up I had a heck of a time getting the mouse pointer and touchpad to work properly to get into the settings. Once I was finally able to get into settings and verify their were updates to run and ran the updates. The device became like using an iPad or an iPhone with a cool remote. The initial impression almost had me boxing it back up and returning it until I ran the updates. Great device but auto updates do not seem to work at first startup.
