All the features from the original, plus Apple has added Siri for voice commands and search, storage for games and an updated GUI. You no longer get default apps, but have to choose what to add (just like your iPhone) IR codes remain the same as the original, which means a straight swap and no programming for your universal remote or automation system. Worth the premium price if you want the premium features.

The newest incarnation of the Apple TV is a great start. Although it is rough around the edges, every software update makes it a better product. This product only makes sense if you are invested in the Apple eco system, but if you are it is a worthwhile purchase.

Upgraded from an older version. This one is much easier to use and much faster as well

Cut the cord and wanted the perfect way to get my Netflix/Hulu and OTA antenna to each TV in the house. Looked at Roko and the rest, Apple TV beat them all hands down.

Bought this to initially use has a hub for my Schlage wireless lock, and my ecobee3 Tstat. However after using it for other things such as Apple air play which you literally mirror your mirror your iPhone to TV, Netflix and YouTube I love it. I know you can use Netflix and YouTube on a lot of other devices I own those too but having it all in one plus the easy of use remote and Siri make it awesome

As usual, Apple products are always easy to use. It comes with Siri which is a plus.

Loving my new Apple TV. Opted for the larger memory as I am sure there will be an increasing number of apps that will be developed. Love the Aerial screen savers too.

Amazing product. Needs more apps to be available and wish apple came already with a tv service like sling. The sky is the limit with what can be done with the Apple TV.

I use my Apple TV to automate my home and for streaming tv outdoors. As a heavy apple user, it fits and functions with all of our other apple products.

I've had several Apple TVs in the household for many years. This is a great upgrade and sets up for future expansion. Faster, interface is better and remote is awesome.

I recently purchased an open box Apple TV. This was in like new shape and the set up was easy. The remote on this second generation Apple TV is great.

10x better then the previous AppleTV version. My only con is that the control is very sleek and pretty looking, but it is very fragile and in my opinion, not user friendly. I'm always accidentally grabbing it the wrongway or touching the touchpad by accident.

About time for Apple to update the TV. Simple to setup and connect to existing system. The additional features are great

Do yourself a favor and add Apple TV to your home entertainment system. Extremely easy to set-up and start enjoying right away. Plugged mine into a Vizio smart TV. This TV also has a Vizio Sound Stand to boost audio quality. The family is enjoying our pictures with the slide show feature and impromptu dance party's get-to-going when our favorite songs play with iTunes. Already worth the purchase price.

I have several of the previous Black ATVs. One for each TV in the home. The new one is worth the upgrade. The Apple Music works great on it. You will like it I'm sure.

I have been using the Apple TV 1st generation product for more than 6 years. This newer version beats it by giving a greater level of User Experience.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the 4th Generation Apple TV!!! :-) I'm able to download and add or delete apps at will, and the interface is SMOOTH when it comes to the panel on the remote!!! :-) I've already got quite a few new apps on it, and have been using it the last couple weeks to watch Netflix & Hulu, as well as some other TV programming on there!!!!! :-D Apple TV 4th Gen ROCKS!!!!! :-D
