Bought this so that I could access my iTunes movies on my Sony TV. The remote easily and simultaneously starts my TV and the Apple TV. After that navigation is handled on the TV remote or by a mobile device. I like that it accesses my iTunes music, but only some. Have to have my Mac on in order to hear the rest. Overall for being heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem this fulfills my preference of seeing movies on my TV. If you're not using Apple already then I have no reason to recommend this.

Best Buy is a really great spot to quickly pick up your Apple products.. No need to deal with the mob at the Apple Store just go to best buy and you're in and out in minutes.. Apple TV is really easy to set up, I was online in less than 5 mins, voice commands really work I was totally surprised how well it worked and how easy it was to navigate through the apps..

As you may know in the older versions, apps were very limited. With Apple TV 4 you are able to leverage your tv as an arcade system too in a nice small package. Obviously it doesn't replace your console systems but it's perfect if you want your children to get a taste of video games.

Apple improved everything from their original. The remote is much easier to use and does more. The main screen is more User friendly. A good buy.

I owned the original appleTV and really did not use it that much. It was not accepting updates and I was using my Sony DVD player for internet content like Netflix, VUDO and Amazon. This new revision of the hardware and interface is much easier to use in couch potato mode and I am using it as my primary streaming device now and using AirPlay more as well.

Works good, easy to navigate. The remotes top part is a swipe & click area similar to a mouse and is very sensitive to touch which can be frustrating as an unintended touch can navigate you out of what you were doing or scroll much faster than intended. I have noticed that this version keeps log in and loads/buffers much better/faster but is similar enough that you don't feel you need to relearn how to work within the apps etc. I wish the price was a bit lower considering older versions were under $100.

I had an original AppleTV years ago and wasn't very impressed. Google had done such a good job with Chromecast and I was a big fan of Roku. I bought my latest AppleTV to work with my HomeKit setup, but in using it, I am very impressed. It has a ton of great channels and apps, it is very easy to use, and works seamlessly with all of my other Apple devices.

I have always liked Apple TVs. This model is very good and has far more options and apps available than its ancestors. My only slight disappointment is in the remote. It feel very fragile and is a bit too sensitive. I can't pick it up without touching in the wrong place and pausing a movie or changing something. BUT, I would definitely recommend it to cord cutters everywhere. Apple TV has saved me a ton of money over the past several years. I hope Apple will keep adding apps, channels, and such to Apple TV.

Very satisfied with my Apple TV. Definitely recommend it to anyone, especially to any Apple fanatic.

Outstanding performance, features. A must have for streaming!

Love the new functionality of the Apple TV 4. The Siri search is awesome and It turns my TV on and off at the same time as it powers on or off.

Best of all, a lot of new features, easy to use, great product.

With this device and Netflix, who needs cable? From the time I plugged it in I knew like Herman of Hermon's Hermits, "I'm into something good"

Great product! Had the first Apple TV and this version is that much better! Love that you can load apps onto the tv. Much more user friendly.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to set up, you just have to make sure your accounts are in order and it almost sets up it self, I also have it connected to my cable provider so that's a plus, you really don't need a cable provider when you buy the Apple TV but there are a lot stations that are not supported so I have both, setting up the home automation was really simple too, basically get all your Apple devices on the same wireless network and they all link up automatically, love it.

This was exactly what I was looking for To be able to access my favorite tv shows and movies through the AppStore without subscribing to cable

i have a version 2 of this and thought it would be a good time to upgrade. the interface alone is worth it. the tv app makes finding and tracking shows so easy and there are a lot of great apps to choose from. the homekit integration is pretty awesome, too! now i can ise the home app on my phone to control automated devices from outside my network.

Finally, I can watch my ITunes collection on my TV without having to connect my computer to my TV.

The AppleTV unit is easy to set up,and provides a great way to mirror or redirect display from iPhone or iPad. We also use it to stream video, watching movies, etc. Streaming is much more reliable than the built-in streaming capability of our Samsung Smart TV. I like the touch-sensitive remote, and Siri built in makes it easier to work with.
