A genuine upgrade for the Apple TV, with the ability to add apps to the module.

This was an upgrade to an old 720 AppleTV. The Siri feature isn't quite perfect yet, but it's nice to see Apple putting an effort into the product.

The AppleTV (4th Generation) is a leap forward from the previous version. Most importantly, you control the apps on screen - not Apple. The TVOS App Store is very similar to its counterparts on iOS and MacOS - although it could stand some improvement. A standout feature is the intuitive, builds-on-itself Siri search. For example you could say "show me all Jason Statham movies", get a result, then say "just the funny ones" and it automatically decreases the list to only the comedies. Makes finding what you want amazingly easy. Lots of potential for the device now that a larger hard drive is on board. The processor is lighting fast. Only down side (now that they've implemented Siri more broadly including usernames and passwords) is the continued lack of Amazon Video on the device. Something the two companies need to work out for the sake of the consumer.

Ability to download apps provides similar functionality as iPhone and iPad. Graphics upgrade shows wonderful detail when watching movies on 4K tv. Siri makes it easier to call up directly upon request. Enjoying these fantastic features. Great job.

No 4K but that's ok because it's the best 1080p on the market and it proves it

Set up is more difficult than expected, apps less than expected, I liked the older one better

A new revolution for the way we view our tv, this product it's amazing, I get better picture quality, faster loading times and there is just so much you can do with this product, I strongly revomend this product if I looking to drop cable for good.

I loved my old v2 Apple TV and got this one to update my system. I love it!!

This third edition Apple TV has the lot of Apps, good picture!

Very sensitive to wifi connection issues: e.g. will not stream netflix or itunes content from a range extender - needs to connect to primary wifi to work. Also streaming interrupted when our micowave oven is in use. Bought a Chromecast at the same time and it works much more reliably for less cost. Rate the potential high but current execution disappointing

I have used the Apple TV 3 for the past few years. I am very happy that I upgraded to the new version Apple TV 4. The ability to get third party apps is a great addition. The new Siri style remote make navigation so much easier than before.

Great gift for my best friend who was looking to turn his TV into a Smart TV

I love being able to have all my Apple products in one location!

I have the older Apple TV, and this model is much improved. You do need to access apps yourself, but this means you can download and use what you like! Slightly pricier than the old model, but worth it if you don't already have a Smart TV.

I've used the new Apple TV with new remote for about a month now and all I can say is WOW! This new version is easy to configure and operate. Again, the new Apple TV is the way to go for movies, games and several apps for TV like Netflix, etc.
