The Apple TV is perfect. If you are getting into all things digital, this is needed for you. Meaning.. you watch your movies and shows on Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime (and other things like it). I love AirPlay. I can throw my screen from my Mac, iPad and iPhone up on the TV. It comes in handy often. I can access all my music, pictures, and movies i have through iTunes and such. It was a great purchase for my family!

If you're thinking about getting this and you own an IPhone or MacBook you need this. The AirPlay feature is my favorite part. Being able to project what I have on my IPhone is a lot of fun. One thing to note. If you are an avid Pandora listener, then you might be a little disappointed. The AppleTV does not support Pandora, but has iTunes Radio. It is a little different. I actually don't mind it. It has everything else you're looking for tho. AirPlay, Netflix, HuluPlus and MLB.TV. Just buy it already, ok?

Had initially purchased a Samsung adapter for my Samsung smart tv. Clerk at checkout told me about other adapters (Roku, Chromcast, Apple TV). Did some research & discovered the Apple TV would work great since I have an iPad & iPhone. It would also turn the tv in my resort home into a smart tv. Found this to be a very smart decision. No brainer!!!!!!!!

We don't have cable. We pay for Internet and watch tv online like many young people do. And we connect our laptop or tablet to the TV via hdmi cable. But you have to be right next to the TV in order to change what you're watching, aka get off the couch. With Apple TV, I can watch whatever I want without getting off the couch. I can even use my iPhone as the remote. And the picture is so much clearer. I don't know why I was hesitant to buy this. I love it.

I bought this so I could watch the many movies I have on my IMac on my new Plasma TV, also to mirror my iPad screen to my TV. With the included remote it is very easy to use. The HDMI cable is not included so I bought a cheap one online. This is the only way I know how to watch iTunes content on a TV. It's got quite a few other apps on it. Unfortunately between my 3D Panasonic Smart Plasma, Sony Blu-ray entertainment system, iPad, & iPhone I have almost all these apps already but its nice that all my electronics are connected to one another so data can be shared between all my tech. Set-up was a breeze as is expected with all Apple products. I velcroed the Apple Tv to my wall behind my wall mounted Plasma so its sleek low-proflie worked out great.

I love my new Apple TV!! Who needs cable when you have a device like this? I use it every day and don't know what I would do with it. LOVE IT!!!

With my Apple-tv binge watching is an every weekend thing,we can catch up on numerous past seasons, i.e.; ( house of cards, game of thrones and more ). It is so easy to view photos from I-phone albums. Great buy, great value.

This is a great price for Apple TV. Very easy to use and play movies ,YouTube videos right from your iPhone Or iPad

i went to the store to get a new cell phone & saw they had a 40% off appliance sale. The stove that came with my house was old & I hated it. I got my new cell phone but also found an amazing stove for an unbelievable price! I even had my 6 year old grandson test the no finger print on it before deciding to get it. The process for the credit was easy & it delivered in a couple of days. I can't wait to get my next new appliance to match it!

It is good because I can see what I'm looking at my cell phone! and some other programs and ceries! So it is good?

We originally had the 1st generation Apple TV which was nice... but it has some issues. So I sold it on ebay and then bought the latest Apple TV which far surpassed the original one! Now we can watch HULU Plus, we can access so many different apps, and it allows us to project our iPads on to the TV! So if we're watching a video on the iPad and want to show everyone else, just use AirPlay and BAM! It's on the Apple TV! This thing is amazing. And when you want to rent a movie, it's SO EASY! Way to go, Apple! Another astounding piece of technology that's sleak, small, and so fun to use.

Already had one in the family room....added one for the master bedroom....when Chromecast did not work well in the office we came back to get a third one. Now we are happy!

There are more video apps than I imagined. I love that all of my purchases in the AppStore/iTunes store are playable through my tv

Now, as a full time RVer, I can stream my Amazon movies onto my big screen so I don't have to watch them on the computer anymore!

I purchased this for a connection to my projector and needed an optical audio out connection. Great Video, Awesome sound!
