what an amazing product! I now can view shows that I missed without taping it or using a DVR.

The Apple TV is great for anyone like myself who wants out of the cable game. I do most of my streaming through my PS3, but I bought this for MLS Live so I can catch live soccer games. The picture quality out of the Apple TV vs the PS3 is night and day, The only negative is the remote app with iPhone or iPad, it's a little slow, but other than that, no complaints.

I've been looking at purchasing a streaming device for some time. Iv'e looked at them all, as there are nice ones out there. But being an Apple guy, I wanted to keep the steak going but the earlier gens were very "apple limited'. With the 3rd gen out, and Apple now expanding their apps to non apple products, it was an easy decision, especially with the price reduction of 30%. Took me less than a minute to connect and I was off and running. So nice to now be able to watch Netflix in the living room than be stuck to the bedroom.

Enjoy this product, also purchased an Amazon Firestick and honestly we use that more than the AppleTV. Enjoy the music and linking all of our other Apple products, and being able to stream from phone/iPad to the tv easily.

I have a Macbook Pro, an iPhone 5, and an iPad so for me this product is a no brainer. I have it set up in my bedroom and its mostly used for Netflix and streaming movies from iTunes. The only real negative has been that movie rentals are kind of expensive, regardless of being able to stream then instantly. Driving down the road to rent a red box movie is only $2 where as most new movie rentals on iTunes start around $4-5 each. But this leads to where, I believe, the Apple TV really shines. If you have a Macbook or use an iPad, you can use the AirPlay feature. I don't have cable or dish TV so I stream all of my shows, Movies, etc from either saved digital media or websites. I like that I can pull up websites, videos, whatnot and have them instantly on my TV, sound and all. I'll most likely be purchasing another for my living room so that I can stream music, movies, videos when we have people over. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has other apple products and wants to be able to send media from their different devices to their TV. Another thing to mention is for presentations, such as photography or videos, I can't think of a better way to display your media. It's about as simple as it gets as far as sending the information from one to the other. Again thought this is if you are using Apple's AirPlay setup.

I bought the Apple TV as a present to myself and I'm truly glad I did. Not only do I find it easier to use then my Roku, but I also love the things it can do that Roku can't. I like the mirroring option with my iPad and iPhone because I can surf the web and have it displayed on my tv much easier then with any other device I have. I also like the air play availability.

Love how everything is seamlessly working together. I especially love being able to mirror my phone so I can watch youtube videos on my tv.

Love it. Have one for each of my tvs. Easy to stream movies, TV shows, etc from you iTunes account and other apps like Netflix and Hulu.

I previously was using PS3 as my media streamer for the last 6 years. It served my needs at the time but I recently replaced one of the failed PS3s I had with an Apple TV and the functionality of it far out weighs the PS3. With the Apple TV, I am able to organize my media library far better than the PS3 format and am able to stream from one device to multiple others connected to other rooms in my house so that I can listen to music in every room in my house. I plan to replace all other PS3 consoles with more Apple TVs. I'm sold!

gave it as a gift to a 20 year old who loves anything Apple....big success! just plug it in and you can see your whole iPhone on any TV...also works with MAC laptop....just plug it in and the TV becomes your monitor. couldn't get any easier!

I absolutely love it. You can search and watch anything that's on the Internet, view photos, videos etc. that are on anyone's iPhone, iPad.

have 2 Apple TV now still will love to have another one, easy to use compare to other devices & good to watch lots of programs we enjoy~

The remote is very small and easy to lose. The Amazon Prime Stick is easier to use. The only good thing about the Apple TV is being able to hook your computer up wirelessly.

Apple TV is amazing if you would like to do anything you would normally do on an iPod or iPad ex. Listen to music or watch a movie. Great buy.

I really like this!! I can connect anything from my mini iPad or iPhone. I can also use my home wifi to pull up my Netfix without the need of conecting my apple items. The only negative thing I have to say is regarding the small basic remote. when im searching it takes for long to type in what I want. Next time I'll be getting one with a key pad or voice. But over all I'm happy with the the product but in the future I would like to upgrade and keep up with technology. Great buy use it daily.

Right now I'm only using this to mirror images and videos but it looks to have a lot of uses. Solid product but Apple never disappoints.

Apple has once again made a wonderful product. Though this isn't a new product it still does exactly what it was made to do! Entertain!

I haven't had any problems with the operation of this device. I wish I had a little more control on how the apps are grouped. And some cable companies do their usual cable monopolistic things and only allow certain devices to have access to certain apps (and Apple and Amazon can't/won't make a deal to offer Amazon Prime Video). Also, this is killer for AirPlay capabilities alone. I use this more than the built-in apps on my SmartTV for design and speed. I also picked up a bluetooth keyboard, and they work great together.

This has helped me cut the cord from cable/satellite companies. Just Netflix and Hulu now. Only costs me $16 a month! Picture is great!

I have 3 in my house, they are all phenomenal! I love how they can all connect to each other and play the same music simultaneously.
