netflix looks crystal clear, airplay works great, very easy to set up.

This is a great product if you typically buy or rent movies or shows on iTunes. I don't use features like Airplay or use photo sharing. Setup is pretty easy and streaming works well if you have very fast internet (>10m Mbps)

Bought this product based on an advice from a friend. I needed something that could allow me to watch any thing on my iPhone on my HD TV. I was very pleasantly surprised when I bought this product. The setup is very simple, and the quality of the pictures and sounds are very high. I even think, it improves standard definition video and display them as HD.

Intuitive and easy to use. I purchased this after owning a roku and find the Apple TV to be more convenient due to the integration with Apple ID for making purchases.

Simply put, easy to use great content. Love having iTunes content, Netflix and other choices by simply clicking and using one remote.

I don't know why I waited to get this. It is amazing, and I can watch everything including videos of my granddaughter's gymnastic meets.

I have 2 of these and they're great. East enough to use so non-technical people can use them also.

This is an easy to set up device. I recommend it for any apple user that like to show off their pictures on the tv. airplay is seamless. There are a lot of channels and sure it doesn't have all of them but again great device.

It's great for watching Netflix and watching YouTube videos. Also pretty cool to use it to project my ipad and macbook screens to the TV.

Very good purchase. The money spent on this is very much justified. I enjoy the convenience of having the mirroring from my phone.

I also have the original Apple which has 160gb storage but, doesn't offer Net Flix or HBO go. This new version has no storage but does offer Net Flix and HBO go. I like it's new small size, The new style remote is nice looking but, awkward to use. I stopped using the new remote that came with it and paired one of the old style remotes because I was forever inadvertently pressing the wrong buttons. To date it still does not offer Showtime Anywhere. I should have taken a closer look at the Roku, Amazon and others on the market.

We dropped our cable. No more HBO. Game of Thrones was two months away. What's that friend, I can come over your house to watch it? Cool. Weeks pass... HBO announces HBO Now. What's that HBO, I can subscribe monthly to your service now and have access to your entire collection? And as an added bonus you'll give me a free 30 day trial? Cool. Days pass... HBO Now is not offered on PS4. For now, just offered through iTunes. Sadness. Minutes pass... AppleTV drops price to $69.99. No time to waste. I...Best Buy it. So essentially I really only got it for HBO Now, which I only got for Game of Thrones. So far, it works great. On a serious note, I have noticed that some video quality does appear to be better through AppleTV, though it just might be my imagination.

I am a Mac person and it works great with my ipad/iphone. I can put anything on the ipad/iphone right in the tv. I can also access my music library, files etc. My only complaint is that a lot of the apps that come with it are ones that require a subscription (ie netflix, huluplus, crackle etc.). So unless you want to pay to subscribe to a bunch of these apps there are a bunch you can't use. Other than that its a great product and if you use it with slingbox its a great way to watch your home team if you're not in your hometown.

We like the AppleTV's so much we bought a second. It's much easier to boot up the AppleTV vs. our Xbox or Playstation. ApplePlay is handy as long as you don't try to stream a movie because it's not going to work. We take them on vacation to make sure we can catch the latest episodes of shows like GOT before our friends on Facebook ruin it for us. Wifi and ethernet connections are flawless making the experience that much better and all of our movie purchases are easily on tap to keep our 3 year old at bay when needed.

I have purchased 5 apple tvs' so far for family members and they all have worked great for watching Netflix, listening to music, looking at pics from my apple phone on the big screen wirelessly, but the only problem that seems to be a problem with all the apple tvs' I have is you can't watch apple recorded videos wirelessly. I have researched this online and the problem seems to be for a lot of users. It isn't a problem with my wireless router, speed etc. because I have all new and top of the line equipment and service. I run 4 wireless printers and multiple other wireless devices flawlessly. I stream 2 hour movies to my laptop with no issues. As others have said on forums, nearly perfect product other than this annoying quirk that apple should be able to fix!

This is the best streaming device in my opinion. Especially if you already have other Apple products and can use the AirPlay features.

The Apple TV works great. We use it for Netflix, Hulu Plus, and photo streaming through our iPhones. It was very easy to setup and we get a great picture. We were looking for options instead of cable and satellite. We purchased two of these and cancelled our cable. We have not looked back since.
