I really like the apple TV. I was able to get rid of my cable because it was cheaper to buy the series. The downside is the remote is tiny and easy to lose, but I can use my iPhone as a remote.

The Apple TV is a good product for media streaming with fairly little effort required upon completion of setup. You can instantly get items on your tv to show. Very good with pictures. Need to know a little about apple to fully use. The speed of your internet connection can impact the device. Also you need to subscribe to the services you plan to use with the device (Netflixs, Hulu, etc.) if you don't already have them. It would be good if you could cover more than one room.

Easy setup... activate with iCloud and your TV provider. Can watch Premium channels watch, full season. I love it.

Apple TV makes it incredible easy to stream videos and music from multiple sources in one simple to use device.

This unit was very easy to set up, all you need is an HDMI cable to connect to your flat screen and you're off to the races. It streams video content from youtube, and you can watch shows and movies from netflix and hulu effortlessly, not to mention linking your iTunes library to play from Apple TV. It's just totally cool.

Easy to set up & very user friendly HD quality is great. I most enjoy streaming from my phone. Easy to link up.

I've used these since day one to watch iTunes related content... Now that it has built in Netflix, but most of all Airplay, I use it for all video, audio, computer and iOS device streaming, even mirroring game playing to my tv. Easily the best media streamer on the market for the money. Google Chromecast can suck on that...

I first had a Roku. I loved it but once I caught wind of what more the Apple TV could do (I live within Apple's ecosystem, I will admit) and I had to try it out. The ability to stream music, pictures, and video from your iPad straight to your tv through the Apple TV is great. When I purchase a video from iTunes I can wirelessly sync it to my iPad to watch it on the go or I can play it on my HDTV. I really only use mine for Pandora, Netflix, and Airplay. I couldn't be more satisfied with how well this device performs using these services. As with all Apple devices though, this one is on the higher end of the price range similar products sell for. If you live within Apple's ecosystem and enjoy the ultra-convenience, then this is for you. If you don't think you'd use AirPlay or it's ability to connect with WMC, then a Roku really does work just as well and (depending on model) can be cheaper.
