For a long time I had thought about getting a product to bring content to my TV and I'm glad I finally bought the Apple TV. It's so easy to set up and use and there are tons of options for content. The more you are in the Apple eco-system the nicer this product is because it allows you to stream content from your Mac.

i love Apple TV so much that I purchased 3. One for myself and two as gifts. If your an Apple user, this is a must.

I've used these since day one to watch iTunes related content... Now that it has built in Netflix, but most of all Airplay, I use it for all video, audio, computer and iOS device streaming, even mirroring game playing to my tv. Easily the best media streamer on the market for the money. Google Chromecast can suck on that...

It worked like it supposed to, and as it is expected. Frequently used to listening to music and movies via AirPlay.

Decent gadget even though it could use an update at this time. I received this as a gift. I have a Chromecast that I use day and night and swear by it. Even though the content is pretty much the same between Apple Tv and the Chromecast the ATV beats it when it comes down to mirroring feature. That saved my life on a number of occasions. But my favorite part is the remote. Being able to use the remote to fast forward stuff on YouTube is much easier than using the phone.

Very easy to use. Nothing too special unless you already buy a lot of movies with digits copy or off of iTunes.

I needed an additional option for entertainment for guests when they visit my home. It doesn't matter the age there is something there for EVERYONE. It is very easy to use and I like that.

I first had a Roku. I loved it but once I caught wind of what more the Apple TV could do (I live within Apple's ecosystem, I will admit) and I had to try it out. The ability to stream music, pictures, and video from your iPad straight to your tv through the Apple TV is great. When I purchase a video from iTunes I can wirelessly sync it to my iPad to watch it on the go or I can play it on my HDTV. I really only use mine for Pandora, Netflix, and Airplay. I couldn't be more satisfied with how well this device performs using these services. As with all Apple devices though, this one is on the higher end of the price range similar products sell for. If you live within Apple's ecosystem and enjoy the ultra-convenience, then this is for you. If you don't think you'd use AirPlay or it's ability to connect with WMC, then a Roku really does work just as well and (depending on model) can be cheaper.

After a very easy hookup and install I went on an online streaming spree and it was a blast. Money well spent.

Such an amazing product. Easy way to extend my Mac screen or easily share picture when friends and family are over.

I love my apple tv. I have them at home and I just bought one for my business. What a great way to customize what plays on your tv screens or simply stream music or the radio. I would recommend this. I can easily project videos or pictures. I can watch live tv. It's full interactive and is more convenient for my purposes.

The 3rd-gen Apple TV is another great device from Apple! It offers access to most of the services I use, and I'm sure more will be added. It's ease of connection made it a breeze to set up. I love being able to see my photo stream on my big screen, and it's so nice to be able to use air play from apps on my iPhone or iPad.

I bought this because I have several apple products, and for streaming my music and watching netflix/hulu/whatever it is pretty nice. There are a ton of apps and if you have subscriptions to them it is great. Not THAT much quality free stuff included on it (mostly ads for the paid programs), but it suits my needs. The navigation of some of the apps does leave a lot to be desired. Half the time I am watching netflix, it makes me back out of the episode I'm in and go through 3 screens to get to the next one. Also, searching can be annoying when there is no keyboard. But that's just getting nit-picky. Overall, it was definitely worth the money now that they cost less than $100.

Really love this little unit. Streaming is great and easy to set up and use

First, update your apple tv through your itunes with the mico USB cord. IT will save you time and trouble. After that you are goo to go with the latest operating system installed. This is a great product if you have apple devices, if you don't you really don't get the full benefit of the device. I love the airplay capability and the fact I can play movies/tv shows/Music that are stored on my itunes located on my computer. This device can provide hours of entertainment.

Works well for the basic streaming sites, but could use some more free apps, or allow more free/trial content.

Love this small and user-friendly device for streaming and downloading! Exactly what I needed for Netflix binges.
