I was considering the new generation model but I would never actually use the app functionality. The remote on the new model is incredibly nice but this does the job. It streams at the same resolution as the new model and if you don't have an AC capable router, you may never notice the speed difference. I have complete access to my music and movies and the channels allow me to use it instead of an upgraded cable box.

Works great and creates a great picture. Has almost everything I want to watch except Amazon prime. First time with unlimited internet so I have never had anything else.

I bought this Apple TV for my second TV and it works as good as the new Apple TV. The quality of pics and remote on the new Apple TV is better but overall good choice.

Easy setup & works well with tv! Siri lady who comments during setup is a bit annoying tho. But overall a good product so far.

Awesome device! I can watch Netflix and other programing,. I can also use it for screen mirroring on my MacBook Air. I really like the Apple TV. It is small but full of features.

It was easy to use. I love watching movies with it. I even think my parents could figure it out.

I have used a very well known usb version of this and the Apple TV far out performs it. It was very easy to set up and connect to the TV, netflix runs smoothly and doesn't have to buffer for 5 minutes during shows, which was a huge problem I previously had. I haven't synced it with my macbook or iPad yet so I can't yet say how streamlined that feature is but so far I love it and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I really like the Apple TV it does what I expected the remote is horrible, and you can't add apps to it. What's on there is all you can get. But overall I think it's great

There is a lot to do with Apple tv but I only use it for Netflix. It works great for my needs.

Apple TV Its great product. So amazing using my iphone to connect and watch on the big screen.

Apple TV - great device, simple to use, I hooked it up to a TV in an extra room with an over the air antenna which gives me lots of options. A cable subscription allows me to use many of the channel options on the Apple TV by entering my account info. The Apple TV allowed me to ditch the cable tuner on that TV, saving me some $$ each month. Without cable, I'm not sure that the Apple TV would offer as much as I would like.

I purchased this to use for entertainment purposes in a bedroom lacking a cable box. I was blown away to discover that many channels that come with my cable package can be accessed through the Apple TV, along with Netflix, Hulu and movies and shows purchased through my Apple account. My family is actually considering cutting down the amount of cable boxes in our home and switch them all to Apple Tv's. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this device. I can screen share across all of my Apple devices right to my tv.

Apple TV is amazing! It's super easy to setup which only toolk a couple minutes. The menus are intuitive and easy to use. The product performance is fast and reliable. I use it primarily to watch streaming movies and the picture quality in HD is great. It's amazing what that little box can do.
