We installed in our living room TV, and we use an I-pad 3 to select programs. We have used this device watched many movies, news, soap opera from several countries. You must know how to set up wireless network at home, and have router, a reliable internet provider (the signal strength must be strong and your TV should be a HDTV)

Good content and experience for Apple prouct users

The connection with media content on iTunes is terrific. The biggest problem is the new Apple TV now only shows media in iTunes that was purchased through the iTunes store. So, if you uploaded your own miusic to your iTunes library, it will not show it in the default views.

If you have subscriptions to Netflix or Hulu, this device will definitely put you in the drivers seat- playing similar to functions you get on cable boxes like PayPerView or DVR style of pausing, fast forwarding, ect. Its a good product, ESPECIALLY for the price. Also there is a YouTube app as well.
