It works for what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After the cable company decided I had to have a mini box to receive their signal on every tv and want to charge me $2/mo for each I decided I'd had enough but I still needed some kind of signal for one of the rooms. This gets me access to netflix and some of the networks when I want to watch something in that room. It's a little slow to load but sends a steady signal once it's done. Not crazy about the control options, but this is an older version and was less expensive. It fits my purpose and I'm sure it will for many years.

Not including how easy it is to hook up from your phone and play things on the Apple TV. Thanks to Best Buy, for making the purchase easy!

I love Apple TV!

I have 1 in the living room, and now 1 in the bedroom. I can stream all my iTunes content, stream Netflix, and now I can watch over 30 added stations. Excellent product!

When you stream from I-Tunes the picture quality is as good as I have ever seen. I wish that it had more Apps, including Amazon Video. But if you have an Apple device such as an i-pad, I-phone, it will now stearm Amazon directly from these devices and the sound and picture is great.

Saved money, but . . .

We were sad to discover that this version of the Apple TV does not update with new apps. Instead, we had to download the app to our iPhone and then use AirPlay to watch on our TV. Disappointing. So, even though we saved money by purchasing this older version of the Apple TV, for convenience, it might be worth investing in the newer version.
