Lower price is great value

I won't be needing the new features, and I already have one in my family room, so I took the opportunity to add another upstairs. I mostly stream Netflix, Pandora & PBS, and find the integration capabilities with other Apple devices very convenient.

Wonderful addition to my electronics

I really like how you just beam stuff right to the tv from anything Apple and then you can watch just about anything from it.. It basically makes your tv a smart tv, it's a good investment

Excellent for med student

She Is on her MacBook Air all of the time. She uses the Apple TV to watch podcasts on tv and takes notes on her computer. It allows her to have more open on her computer at the same time. It also gives her eyes a little break from staring so closely to her computer. She loves it!

Apple TV does what you expect

If you use a Macbook, be warned that the remote will activate functions on your computer. You will need to disable them on the computer (search for infrared in settings menu) so that every button press won't disrupt your use. Otherwise, some of the menus are clunky. They don't always make the best organizational sense (particularly netflix), but most of those problems are on the app developers, not necessarily the Apple TV.
