This device is nice. I thought it was alittle more to it. My son loves the ESPN app. I wish you could download other apps to watch.

I bought an Apple TV only because I wanted to use its AirPlay feature with my MacBook Air. From Apple's website I learned that my MacBook Air had to be mid-2011 or newer. (It is mid-2011.) But, I missed that I needed Mountain Lion. (I have Lion.) When I bought my MacBook Air last year, I also bought a $35 Belkin Thunderbolt-to-HDMI adapter-and-cable combo so that I could use my TV as an auxiliary monitor. The Belkin cable failed within two months. I bought another, and it also failed within two months. Belkin sent me a 3rd one free of charge, and it failed within two months. When I (thought I had) discovered that I could use an Apple TV to WIRELESSLY use my TV as an auxiliary monitor for my MacBook Air, I figured that $100 for wireless was better than $35 for cables that don't last. When I discovered that I would have to pay Apple $20 to upgrade to Mountain Lion, the Apple TV "solution" didn't seem so appealing...so I returned it. I cannot rate the Apple TV as a delivery device for Internet TV, because I didn't try much of that. I cannot rate the Apple TV as a wireless MacBook-to-TV connection, because I didn't have the right operating system. It still seems like a great idea, but if you're interested in it for that purpose, make sure you have Mountain Lion.

The cube and remote are very small and simple to use. I love that I can use it to "mirror" what's on my iPad mini using the AirPlay feature and it's great for streaming podcasts, netflix, and a bunch of other things. Great product.

I love Apple TV! I can stream purchased music from iTunes or music from my iMac. I stream Netflix and YouTube ... Vevo. ESPN is also on Apple TV. My only criticism is that Amazon Prime is not on Apple TV (wouldn't hold your breath waiting for THAT to happen though). I would highly recommend this for someone looking for streaming and/or music options.

Easy to set up. Had some trouble getting HBO Go to log on. Mirror function is really neat. Does not have VUDU as an available app.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a new Vizio Smartcast TV and were both frustrated with the connection issues with streaming from our phones to the TV. We decided to get an AppleTV after using friends' AppleTV's and seeing good reviews on it. We are very pleased with the purchase as it is exactly as advertised, we are able to choose from a plethora of apps to watch TV shows and movies on or stream from our other Apple devices very conveniently. We decided to go with this version apposed from the newest version to save money and we are not at all dissapointed. I would recommend this to anyone.

Works great for the access we have to the internet. We live in a rural area and a couple of times it has to reload during a movie.

Does everything as expected. Could not be happier with product.

Easy to set up. I bought to get access to iTunes on my tv for movies, I already had blue ray for other access to internet services.

Got this for work so people with Apple products could display in out primary conference room. It has worked fine for that purpose.

Easy to turn on and fast on opening applications for your kids
