I initially bought the Roku stick and I took it back the very next day and got the apple tv. Roku was harder to set up and it did not do what I was looking for. I love that Apple tv mirrors my macbook as well as plays netflix, hulu, etc. There is really no need for cable tv anymore.

I attached this to my projector and connected it to my wifi! Then I get my iphone 6 plus and placed my PowerPoint Presentation on it and my phone has all my notes, my phone is also the clicker, and it project my powerpoint smoothly even the HD videos in my presentations. Loving it!

I've used an Apple TV 3rd Generation in the past for Airplay, iTunes Radio, and some YouTube, but now that the device is updated more frequently, it's just better than ever. ESPN, HBO Go, NBC Sports and so much more. Red Bull TV is a recent favorite as well. Can't go wrong for $69!

I bought this product because my daughter likes it so I tried and it was cool apple product! At firts, it was difficult to use with out samsung smarttv but after we figured it out, it was great! Music sounds the same with partnering in smart tv. I really liket this product!

I used to use the apps on my blu-ray player to access music, Netflix, and Hulu. I would constantly have connection issues. I already have an iPhone, iPad and with the new lower price of the Apple TV, it was a no brainier. It has been a great investment when it comes to entertainment.

Bought Apple TV for my bedroom, loved it so much! Got one for the living room too. Works seamlessly. If you have an iPhone this is a must, you can use AirPlay to stream directly to your TV! Best thing ever! Added a subscription to HBO Go, Hulu Plus, there's always something to watch!

I bought this with the intent of sending videos from my iPhone/iPad to my TV, and it works like a charm. For those already invested in the Apple ecosystem, I think the Apple TV is a must have. It was very easy to set up, pretty much plug and play. As long as your iOS has Airplay, you can send videos with surprisingly high quality to your TV with the push of a button. Ours is also routed through our sound system, so we can send our iTunes playlist through the surround sound. As HBO subscribers, it's also a convenient way to leverage HBO Go. There may be better similar devices if you don't have other Apple products, but I've been delighted with the purchase.

i love my apple tv. i have had it for a few months now and its just awesome. i have all apple products (iPad, macbook air, iPhone 6) and the connectivity from my apple products to apple tv is amazing. You are able to stream any video from iPad iPhone macbook to your apple tv with ease.

Bought this so we could airplay entertainment and workout videos on a tv screen as opposed to a small phone screen. It works pretty well most of the time, but does cut out more often than I'd like - not sure if that's due to the connection or the AppleTV though. Wish it had more apps and the ability to add apps, but you can get that ability if you buy the newer generation version.

I previously had an older Roku with limited access to various streaming options. I did a little research and read about Apple TV, then checked with one of my sods who switched from Roku to Apple TV. It's easy to operate, nice looking and the number of available options is great.

It's an awesome product if all your devices are from Apple as it allows you to 'mirror' your phone, tablet. I have a PC so it doesn't allow me to mirror it only my iTunes. It's great to read your emails on the tele or browse the internet on it ( don't have an internet tele). Really like it!

We have given just about every streaming device a chance now and this is our favorite. Out of our 2 blu rays, chromecast and a smart tv, this Apple TV has the most functionality and is the easiest to use. Highly recommended if you have Apple devices and still useful even if you don't.

Bought the google chrome for work trying to save a buck but had issues connecting it to our network, returned it got Apple TV which is what I should have got in the first place and it worked right away with easy set up :)

My daughter is going to college and trying to limit expenses so she didn't sign up for cable. The only thing she was missing was being able to watch the morning news in a couple of other shows. The Apple TV device solved that with its news apps. Great picture great sound great device.

Love my apple Tv. This is my second one for my bedroom. I decided to get another of the "old model" as I didnt like the remote on the newer model. It was similar to the old ipods with the round wheel in the middle.

Love having my Apple TV syncs up with my phone and iPad. Only down side is the lack of apps

Why did I wait so long to get this.. My house is filled with Apple products...as well as Home Automation devices, bulbs, etc... Streaming video from my iPad to my 55" tv is SO easy, and the quality of the picture is high def, I was afraid it would lose picture Quality but it does not!

I've owned Apple TV's for a few years now and I love them. I mostly use them for Netflix, Crackle and Youtube streaming and they are great for that. I also use AirPlay on occasion and that works flawlessly as well. I bought this as a gift and the person I bought it for raves about it.

I love my Apple TV. If you're into all Apple products you'll love this. This device has all of your favorite movie and social media apps downloaded on to it. Very easy to set up and enjoy. One thing to note is it doesn't come with an HDMI cable so you'll need to buy one separately.

We had one already and bought one for my father in law. Has all the apps we need and the picture quality is outstanding. I especially love that we can watch our tv shows and movies purchased through iTunes on our tv with this device, in addition to all the other "watch" apps.
