I wanted to watch Netflix on a TV that did not receive it. I installed the Apple TV box and followed the easy directions to set it up. Bingo! I now have Netflix and can watch my favorite shows

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it. However the remote could be better labeled and I was unclear how to turn the box off. A quick look online and problems were solved. As the remote is so tiny and seems easy to lose, I may buy Velcro dots to keep the remote with the box.

this is my 3rd apple tv. I love the functionality and how all my apple devices can talk with one another. Never any issues with any of these.

For any Mac user that purchases movies or video from ITunes this is essential. I can stream movies from my computer directly to the TV in the other room without any learning curve or hassel.

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! He is enjoying all the apps and the fact that he can connect his iPhone to the apple tv and play games on his big screen.

We use these at my office and I also bought one for my father. Set up takes only a couple of minutes and the navigation while rudimentary is easy to learn. Only product licensed for HBONow.

I purchased this for myself and loved it so much I bought 2 more to give to my mom and uncle. I can use AirPlay to watch what I'm watching online on my iPad or MacBook on my TV. LOVE IT

I purchased an Apple TV for the simple fact that I wanted to subscribe to HBO Now. I am very pleased with the additional benefit of pairing my MacBook with my TV. A must have for Apple fans.

I have to say -- I love my Apple TV. So much so, we have 3 of them in the house! It's a compact, stylish design -- doesn't feel like so much of the flimsy stuff that is sold out there these days. The remote is a bit small, but is made of metal (not plastic) so it has some weight to it. The Apple TV offers connection to all the major video streaming services and the interface for Itunes is great too. I love the fact that I can tap into my photo stream, and Itunes music as well -- that is probably the major reason we chose the Apple TV over other, cheaper devices for streaming. Even with the advent of smart tv's, we still use the Apple for the interface with Itunes for music and the ICloud access to photos. There are a few missing features that can be annoying: one big missing piece is Pandora! Since Apple has launched their own radio service, they are not including a Pandora account interface. NOT cool. We consume music in many forms in our household (including Pandora), and not being able to connect to our Pandora account is a major annoyance. The other annoyance I have is the user interface with both Pandora and Hulu Plus. While both of our "smart" tvs and my Ipad allow for automatic advance from one episode of a series of tv shows to the next, Apple Tv not only requires you to select each episode with the remote, it requires you to go through two screens for each one. So if you're trying to catch up on your shows by watching multiple episodes in a row, you have to actively find the remote and jump through several hoops each time. I find that annoying, especially since Netflix and Hulu obviously have the ability and rights to allow for "binge watching". While I still bought 3 Apple TV's for the other features, I'm hoping they eventually fix that annoyance with a software update.

Apple TV is a great product and I mainly use it to stream movies on Netflix and live the airplay feature. This comes in handy when I need to view pictures on my iPad to family and friends.

I bought this Apple TV to use it in Latin America (Peru). It worked perfectly. I had previously bought a Roku for the same purpose but Roku did not allow me to download Netflix there.

Excellent streaming device. The colors and definition are better than anything I've seen. Well worth the money. I only wish you could stream Amazon on it, but then again they are competitors.

My parents needed something simple to use and install to watch netflix on their tv. while they are the furthest from being tech savvy they seem to enjoy the simplicity of the apple tv.

Apple TV is great for the parent that loves to run video from their phones or ipads. So easy to watch on the big screen wirelessly. We use to watch cheer, dance, lacrosse and family events.

I was completely amazed by the easy set up and use of this unit, friends had advised me against it, they were wrong, I would recommend to every one out there, a great deal on the price too.

Apple TV is a practical way of watching Netflix (or the like), streaming movies or music from your laptop to the TV and purchasing or renting media from the iTunes Store if ever you need.

I set up my iPhone Mac iPod to it and easy access is awesome. Very simple set up and takes up very minimal space

This is a true plug and play add on. Worked great to display my photos and videos. I also used to play my iTunes. Works great for Netflix too.

I'm a recent apple product convert and this is just one more great product that has enhance my ability to share photo's, data, and other documents from my Ipad with coworkers and friends.

I purchased this before the newer version came out knowing it was to be. I'm happy with the product. I like watching YouTube video and this unit is a great paring with my phone or iPad.
