We Cut the cord with cable and looked for different streaming choices. It was a little more expensive so we have Apple TV in the living room and Roku in the bedroom. I love being able to access my iTunes and pictures from my iPhone. The remote is small but we have a remote holder to keep all remotes in one place. We love it and have had no problems.

My Apple TV is literally one of the best tech buys - aside from my iPad and Mac (I may be just a bit of a Mac fan)! With Siri built in I love that you can just hold down a button and say whatever show or movie you’re searching for. Also, it’s so nice to be able to have your cable and subscriptions plus more apps all in one place! Lastly, it’s not like a huge cable box but fits so nicely anywhere as you can see in the pic. I cannot say anything but amazing things about this product and why you need it in your household!

Love this generation of Apple TV! We’re cable And satellite free in our house thanks to Apple TV and have been for two years. The Apple TV allows us to easily watch what we want and enjoy without this big cable bills. I also love how easy to use it is and how it works seamlessly with all of my other apple and Mac products! This is the replacement of my old Apple TV. With this new device I am able to download my favorite apps to watch my favorite show/movies. However the remote is too sensitive and too thin to handle. Put the case cover over the remote it does help the handling of the remote (recommended)

I have a Vizio TV that doesn’t have some apps but my Apple TV has everything I need. It was worth the money. The easy apple setup always gets me to buy more apple products.

It works great and smarter than my last one and this item operates with ease.

I upgraded to this because my 3rd generation was extremely slow and the remote lagged response to do anything. I decided to buy this latest model due to the updated Siri remote and use it with my 1080p projector so decided not to get in 4k. This upgrade is amazing. The Siri remote makes navigating easy. Extremely responsive to your voice in searching all apps i.e movie name, entering a password, etc. The load times are fast, the sound quality is much improved. The volume can be 50% level I needed with my previous model. Video quality much better as well. It seems to have a faster connection. The chip allows for much faster movement between apps. Split screen watching also great feature. I haven't even needed to airplay from my ipad yet since it has most of the apps that I use. Don't hesitate if questioning the value for an upgrade over the 3rd generation.

I purchased this Apple TV mainly as a hub for HomeKit. Since you have to either purchase a HomePod, Apple iPad or Apple TV to use HomeKit, the Apple TV was the best (cheapest) option to get this working. I previously used an iPad but if I ever wanted to take it on the go, the hub would be unavailable. Since the Apple TV is connected to my TV, having the Apple TV on 24/7, the Apple TV was the perfect hub. Pros: Setup of the Apple TV is very convenient. Set up can be done via a nearby iPhone and is quick and painless. Siri works really well in entering your credentials via voice OR you can use your iDevice as the keyboard will connect to the Apple TV. Screencasting is great, you can use it to cast your phone as well as cast Netflix or Hulu, etc. Cons: - If you have a long thumb reach, the touch surface feels comfortable when navigating the remote control. For small hands, you have to slide the remote control up and down to get to the navigation controls comfortably. The other alternative is to use your iPhone as a remote control which works as a great alternative remote. - If you use the Apple TV as your main (primary) source of entertainment, it will act like a 'redbox' rental hub. Your first screen may be set up as 'Watch TV' which will take you to the main section. You do not see prices for things until AFTER you make your selection. - Not necessarily a con to the Apple TV but if you have Hulu TV, you are required to change the zip code to match where the Apple TV is located. In a family sharing situation, make sure not to allow family members to change the zip code or else you will have odd issues when running the Hulu App. (Just cast Hulu to it instead)

This has been amazing! Works seamlessly (as designed to by Apple) with all of our other Apple devices. We already owned a Sony Smart TV, however it was the older Sony operating system and the apps didn't always work properly. And in this day and age, you have to have the streaming apps that work properly. I finally got frustrated enough to buy one of these and I have no regrets. During this pandemic, we have been able to stream our church services through AirPlay since we cannot be there in person. With my wife being a photographer and her having a home studio, the Screen Mirroring has worked great too. She will giver her clients a preview of the images off of her camera that she linked up through wifi. She can scroll through the images on her camera through her phone and the Screen Mirroring will show exactly what is on her phone on the TV. Her clients can then pick out the images they want her to edit and they can get them back quicker. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who has multiple Apple products in their home. Works with them all!

I was a lat purchaser of Apple TV, have all the other products but waited to get this one. I tried being a cord cutter and this one made sense. Tried a competitor because of the 30$ price but took that back after 1 day and got Apple TV. You cannot beat the interface, the ease of use, the quality, and AirPlay options. Just works great!

I was using a firestick and was not satisfied with it. Bought Apple TV during baseball season. I subscribe to Mlb at bat. The firestick would be playing a baseball game and just cut off or would just buffer and buffer. So I took a chance and bought the Apple TV. Hooked it up in no time and has been a smooth road since. My only advice is to buy a remote cover. My wife dropped the remote in the first week of having it and it cracked. I bought a remote cover which is just kind of rubbery and it covers up the crack just fine and it helps you grip the remote better. It is very slick. At the present time we have been watching a lot of Christmas movies because we are in the Christmas spirit. If you are unsure about this I would highly recommend it.

We are an Apple family. Apple TV is a perfect device for your obvious uses, streaming and watching movies, but it’s airplay option for showing pics and videos off your phone is what makes it stand out. The remote is a little fragile so make sure to keep it out of harms way, but the system can also be controlled by your iPad or iPhone so either way, you’re covered. We have 3 in our home and we plan to buy more in our future for other bedrooms... digital media is the future and Apple TV is a great way to showcase it.

If you live in Apple's world you won't be disappointed with this device. The setup has to be the easiest around since it uses your iPhone to do all the initial setup. Interface is pretty good, although I find the remote to be just ok. It feels a little sloppy sometimes when navigating. It's pricey, but worth it if your an Apple person.

I have been researching the Apple TV for a long time and finally decided to buy it. When it first arrived my partner asked why I got the Apple TV and not a roku, but once we started using it she quickly changed her attitude. It’s easy to use the clarity is awesome and offers a lot of live tv options. The remote is tiny so we often lose it within the bed. It’s easy and quick to set up and use.
