May take a while to get used to if you have the older Apple TV, but this is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Faster and the trackpad remote makes navigating through the system a lot easier and quicker.

Features are good but Apple TV remote is pathetic. It’s too sleek to operate and gets lost , breaks easily. We have changed the remote couple of times. It’s a bit of challenge for people who are not tech savvy.

This apple tv makes me want to watch more television. Love it

Did as I expected, have used several AppleTV units over the years. Had Sony TV that the NetFlix app no longer works on, adding this was better choice than a new TV.

Got this for HomeKit integrations and it certainly works as intended. Didn’t plan on using it as a media player, but it works better than my current setup so I made the switch.

the first one imposible to connected to the tv I have to go to a apple store to change it best buy will not change it for another one. that was a pain

Better than the old version, kind of pricey though

I am pretty sure it was my TV, but for some reason this Apple TV HD model would not be recognized by my almost 8 year old Led TV. I had to unplug the Apple TV in order for it to be recognized. Once it appeared on screen everything was OK with it. So in conclusion I don't think this device will be for you if you have an old model TV, besides it, it is pretty good.

Works well. Purchase went well. Just download your apps and good to go.

Had a big game I wanted to watch and was out of town for work staying at a friends. Was able to attach my Apple TV and watch the game from my cable with no hassle (Friend didn’t have cable).

We had bought an earlier model Apple TV about 4 years ago. Compared to the old model, the newer model has much faster download speed, and the new remote with touch pad and Siri function is very useful.

Product works great with 1080k tv. However, I'm unsure if it's our tv, HDMI cable or the product itself because we can hear background noise coming from a different source when a movie begins to play. Will invest in a higher end HDMI cable. Hopefully, this resolves the issues. If it does, then, I'll add to this review and provide an update.

We had the first generation Apple TV and we decided to get the latest version. It is so much better with the upgraded remote. The remote turns the tv on and off and controls the volume too. Great purchase!

We were ready to "cut the cable" and got an Apple TV. I've used this at our rec center to mirror-image and love it. However - the remote with this has a mini-trackpad that's a bear to use. And using it to input my Apple ID password is just awful. Worse than texting on a flip phone (remember those?) Why not use a fingerprint on my iPhone? I did download the iPhone app for remote, and that was better. At least I could type it instead of using the remote to move over the entire alphabet to find it, letter by letter. BTW, we went back to cable. I kept the Apple TV and will try to use it on another television at our winter home. The built-in shows were nothing that I wanted to watch and it's not easy to download apps to get the shows we did want. I want my Apple products to be easy to use and exceptional. This is neither.

The Apple TV 4K is a good update from the 4th gen Apple TV. The video quality is good and I love the TV app that centralizes everything that you are watching across all your streaming apps.

I held on to my last Apple TV longer than I should have. Not because there was anything wrong with it, just because this new one is so much better! I seriously have no complaints so far.
