Older model isn’t better

Bought this new one for my retired parents for Christmas got it out of the box to set it up... it took hours you have to download every app individually. Than when I downloaded most of the apps I would use I still had trouble it’s wayyyyy more complicated than the original Apple TV box. I ended up giving my parents one of my older model ones.
