Functions fine. Bought this with tv and works wells.

Since I like to watch dramas or movies on Internet decided to try it. In the beginning was not easy because first time and I am not an electronic person. My friend came over and showed me and now very cool to watch!

Set up was easy, but the remote is useless. Very difficult to control functions. Decided it wasn’t worth the frustration and returned it.

The is a fairly normal sized black squared sized space at the top of the remote and some buttons and you think oh the buttons is where the magic happens! WRONG! OH YOU ARE DEAD WRONG BUDDY! All of the action happens in that DEAD BLACK SPACE. The remote sucks. You even press that dead black space. I traded in my first gen apple tv because I wanted cool apps like CW TV and FilmStruck only to get this sad pile of UI. I want to cry.

Needed this to operate with my Android phone to run . wahoo kickr bike trainer. Took me cost to an hour to fiqure out how to operate remote. Returned bought Chromecast tv

My Apple TV freezes all the time. Not happy with it or have not received my points from buying this item or my router and my surfboard from June or July. I need my old points.

I wish that Apple TV worked with Android phones. I get the whole "Ecosystem" appeal, but sometimes there's one product that works better than every other on the market (and I can't say that about any other Apple product)

Not worth the price and it is very limited and extremely confusing to operate I returned and bought the Roku way much better

Have only used a few times. I own a older version. This has a learning curve not comfortable yet with it. Don't like new way functions. Not sure will keep.

better that the old ones, and the RF/Bluetooth for the remote has a fantastic range. Remote doesnt stay set up all the time though. Whenever the remote battery is dead, you have to set it up again

So far I'm giving this a one-star rating. I am replacing an older Apple TV unit, and the setup on this new one is impossible! The remote is not nearly as user-friendly as the older model, and Tech Support has only limited hours. I want my unit set up NOW.

The box says it has no WiFi but the signal is green and my cellphone has WiFi. Also, the app gets stuck on a show. It plays the show and I already am on the home page. Can you please help me.

I purchased this because my1st generation Apple TV would no longer add new apps. This devices is difficult to use, takes forever to get to the main screen, and just generally sucks. I hate the remote and to add insult to injury it won’t carry Netflix. I’ve been a loyal apple user for years (phones, tablets, laptops, computers) but this time you screwed up Apple.

The remote control is not responding correctly. It worked fine a few days & not does not work.

All I have to say is the remote on this thing is awful and extremely annoying to use.

Unfortunately, we got this to replace our old one and it would not connect to our internet so we returned it....we have the older model though and love it.

I love Apple TV and own 2 but for some reason one of them seems to need restarting pretty consistently. Not sure what the cause but a simple force restart fixes it so far.

I wish I had gotten the older model with usb connectivity . Apple doesn’t want to make things easy..,not allowing a web browser with Apple TV is ridiculous
