Another dongle in order to hook up everything to my MacBook pro, really wish apple would just put more "outlets" on the laptop, this works fine of course but very expensive

Required updates over and over till I read about others having the same issues also apple should have made this with all missing ports SD card included returned bought third party one

The product works as described. It gives additional ports to my MacBook Pro. Other third party products are better solutions. If your are not in a hurry I would look at other options.

The best buy salesman i dealt with sold me this saying my iPad with only lightning port would connect to hdmi with it. I never read the package till it wouldn't work. Had to return it

The new MacBook requires you to buy this if you want to plug in...basically everything. Kinda bummed when I found other adapters for much cheaper. But you are paying for the apple name

A must have with newer MACS so no way around it. I don't like having it hanging or attached to my MacBook but a must if I want to use my old cords to my iPhone 7, external drive...

Actually don't know what to say about this thing. It works. But its just another peripheral piece...and initially an annoyance util you get used to the minimalist aspect of your MacBook.

Nothing exceptional about this product. I needed it to connect by thumb drive from work. Haven't used it long enough to say how it truly performs.

The product is a well made dongle from a manufacturing standpoint but doesn't work in my USB-c charge port when trying to use HDMI to an external monitor, which is annoying.

The adapter works just fine. It is a bit cumbersome having hanging dongles. This is my only complaint with the MacBook Pro. Typical Apple...It's pricy.

I use this just to connect USB devices to my new MacBook Pro. I wish they had left a USB comport in the MacBook Pro bc it's annoying to keep connecting this adapter first.

It works, if you need it because you have the little mac that's fine. Frankly the fact that any of the new mcbook pros don't have usb 3 or 2 port though is silly.

The product works okay, but it is very pricey. Also, some apps won't let you send to a screen, making this product less useful.

It does the job but all of these adapters from Apple are 30% more in price than need be. Always look for the third=party models.

Make sure you run Software Update to get the latest software for the adapter. Otherwise it is not reliable and will cut out your data and power connection.

I am giving this 3 stars more for Apple's issues than Best Buy. While this works perfectly, it is over priced and should have been included!

I dont know why mac decided to once again leave standards for ports. It's not better and adds costs and more stuff I have to have with me. Now I carry 3

Works as advertised, but should not cost this much. Another product which helps Apple maintain their 40+% margin.

Very useful. One of many cables and adaptors that the production company that I work for uses for meetings and expos

I don't like the fact that you have to have this to use basic functions (HDMI etc). I would only recommend it because you have to buy it.
