Was told by salesperson this would work on MacBook Air. It is not compatible. Could not get back to store to return until 3 weeks later. Was told no returns after 14 days. Bummer. Most retail stores at least give store credit. Out of luck I guess. Will do my electronics purchases online from other sources from now on. Best Buy needs a better return policy.

Because no other good choice, this is the better for now but... too expensive, medium quality...

Not 120hz video output. For this kind of money I would expect better.

Problems getting HDMi to work. Power was okay and it was well constructed.

It’s amazing how Apple finds ways to make you have to spend more money on there products by the way that change the newest models so you have to buy special adapter accessories just to start using them#:((($$$$$

This didn’t work well at first required several software updates.

How can an Apple adapter fails to support 4K resolution now that MacBook Air can but only provided two usb-c ports but nothing else? BTW, It also burned my Time Machine HD after restore my MBP backup. Apple Product Management Team has serious problems Ivan tell.

This is the first adapter I tried with my new MacBook. I was disappointed that this expensive adapter only had one USB port. I found a lighter, cheaper and prettier one on the internet that had 2 USB ports instead.

I bought two of these multi-port to type-C adapters for my mac. One worked. The other would only allow HTMI attachment with NO OTHER attachments (e.g. no USB type B). Poor testing & poor quality control.

The USB-C charging port does not charge my laptop.

I don't recommend this if you don't need a HDMI port.

I bought this to use with my MacBook. Did not work at all. Tried hooking it up to a Samsung monitor and the screen was just white. Sent it back and bought something else for half the price that worked great!

Expensive and Doesnt Work with all USB Flash Drives

This is barely useful! I purchased a new Mac Book Pro and no USB ports. Apple has a beautiful, functional and awesome new laptop and they decide, no more USB ports but, no one makes a good adapter to date that is fully functional and reliable.

Bummer Apple keeps changing these things so we can't use old devices without buying something new to connect. You have to have it....simply a way for Apple to make more money. I'd only recommend it to a friend because you have to have it!

Not sure if you can see my prior reviews, but I never give an item a 1-star rating. I could not get the product to work and it was pretty expensive for an adapter. Returned and will try another device.

This was suggested with the new MacBook, due to the C-port, however, there are actually better, more affordable styles online. Apple usually has fantastic products, but this was completely lackluster.

Purchased to connect iPad to tv screen to view, no matter what setting on tv, it only showed a picture about twice the size of the actual iPad and would not go any bigger.

USB port is so bad that every-time you try to connect to a connect you have to keenly oberve the gap and insert it in....not a easy fit at all.....and did not read all hard discs as well...
