I travel (prior to CoVid) quite a bit, and give at least 50 presentations a year. I've used no-name brands for adapters... never again. Was speaking in Canada once when my no-name brand adapter stopped working. Fortunately, I always carry a spare. But... I've NEVER had an issue with Apple adapters. Yes... they are a bit pricier than other brands, but it's worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
