I've had some issues with my MacBook Pro (two USB-C ports) trying to output two video signals with the USB-C ports. Sometimes, I couldn't output through either port; others, only through one. I thought it might have been because of the Insignia brand USB-C adapters I bought, so I upgraded to this one. Still occasionally have trouble with this one, but generally seems to work. Can't say for sure if this has been an improvement over Insignia.

There is mixed reviews about this product online. But I bought this for my new iMac so that I could hook up a 4K television to it as I am blind in my left eye so like my 65 inch TV as my monitor. I actually bought a second one so that I could also run a HDMI through the wall and read my books off Amazon on my TV in my recliner in my living room and both of them have worked flawlessly.

In conjunction with purchasing a new MacBook Pro, this dongle (I love typing this word) allows me to easily connect to a variety of screens, devices, and accessories. A must buy for anyone craving connectivity with other electronic contraptions.

I bought this for use with my new macbook and decided to return it for USB-C to USB converter and an Apple TV instead. However, this product works just fine as well.

One of the Best Multi-port adapter for Apple; I was stuck between Apple - USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - White ( the one I bought) versus the Apple - USB-C-to-USB Adapter - White { this only has one port} $20- versus $70; I would strongly recommend spending the extra few dollars in the long run its going to save you from headaches. But, do your research first!

I feel that the cable could either be longer or it could be part of the square body (i.e. no cable at all). The reason I say this is because in its current shape and size, it forces me to place it on a flat surface which is difficult because I place my MACBOOK at the edge of the table. Function is good with HDMI and USB ports. I wish there was also a VGA port and a USB - c for cascading it to other similar adapters

absolutely love this! with the macbook’s now only having usb c it’s hard to charge your phone with your standard cord unless you spend more money on a usb c cable! it works great! it also gives you an additional usbc port for connecting to your tv and it even allows you to connect to a projector!

I got this adapter for my little MacBook and so far I've used it to plug the computer into a big screen and stream Netflix, charge my phone (while also charging the computer), and uploading files to a usb. Anyway, its nice to have because you can leave you computer plugged in while accomplishing these tasks and not have to worry about running down your battery. Highly recommend!

This USB-C dongle lets me charge my MacBook Pro on a pass-through, as well as connect to a USB A 3.0 or HDMI. Perfect for keeping the laptop charged with sharing my display for presentations on a larger monitor or TV. Keep in mind that sharing on a 1080p TV is meh because the resolution is maxed at 1080 - but sharing on a 4K TV - glorious.

I had held off on buying one of these adapters due to the crazy Apple price tag but with the price reduction that took effect after the new Macbook Pro was introduced, this is hands down the best adapter to get. I've tried numerous others and keep returning to the Apple hub as it provides the best performance (zero lag) when connecting up to an HDMI monitor or TV.

At first I thought this product was way overpriced until I got it and realized everything I can do with it. It's nice to have all the ports on one attachment, I will say though that only having 1 USB is a little tricky but I've since bought a USB external USB hub and that has solved my issue.

After moving from Windows 10 to the MacBook Pro, I needed a way to attach several older USB type devices. This product allows me to connect my older monitor (HDMI), my printer (USB), and retain my Apple power plug with only one device. Add in a USB-C to Ethernet adapter and I can travel anywhere with only two adapters.

After buying my new MacBook Pro I bought just the USB-C to USB adapter but quickly needed HDMI as well. I would reccomend getting this over just the USB as it provides a pass through USB-C so you don’t lose the port, plus your standard USB and HDMI. Works great with no issues, definitely recommend Apple branded adapters!

I switched from a PC to a Mac for the first time. I had an Lenovo HDMI monitor and an ASUS USB docking station from my old setup. This adapter allowed me to use ALL my existing peripherals AS-IS! $69 seems like a lot until you realize how much you save by not having to upgrade all your peripherals. Love the USB-C power pass-through - only one connector to plug/unplug you from the entire desktop setup. Super convenient!

This is one of the best accessories to have if you have a newer Mac and need to connect it to an external monitor. The adapter allows you to charge the computer as well as deliver video signal through HDMI and provide one additional USB connection. It is a little pricey for something that arguably should have been included with the computer, though.

I decided to by the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter while Apple has lowered the price for my MacBook Pro 13" with touch bar. I'm currently using it to connect to my monitor and on occasion my external USB drive. No issues, works great. I decided on this instead of buying a separate USB-C to HDMI and USB-C to USB, this way I only carry one adapter.

I purchased this product for several reasons but one is to hook up my external monitor to my new MAC. When I first hooked up the adapter the operating system gave me a notice that driver must be installed. So I installed and things seemed ok. But each time I hook up the adapter it wants to install the device driver again (which requires a reboot). I just ignore the message and everything works just fine. Just annoying is all.
