The adapter functions as its supposed to. I'm using it to connect a 2016 non-touchbar MacBook Pro to a 27" Samsung curved monitor via HDMI. Haven't had any connection issues. I like that you can still connect the charger through the adapter without tying up the second USBc port.

Best Buy as I tried other brands only to have them stop functioning after about six months. Don't waste your time buying other compatible ones! I could have just gone ahead and bought the apple one for the price I paid for the two compatible adapters.

Just a typical Mac owner writing a typical review about Apple products. Does this dongle do what it says it does? Yes. Does it function well? Yes. It is worth $70 or $80? Absolutely not. It should realistically cost no more than $45. I would rather purchase something off Amazon, but this is guaranteed to work.

This dongle works great. I never had any issues with it. If you have a newer MacBookPro with USB-C ports then you will need this if you need to connect any USB-A wires or to connect an HDMI cord.

I use this all of the time to stream things onto my TV from my laptop using my HDMI chord. It works well and has been a great product since I purchased months ago. Having the port to charge my phone is also nice. Can also charge by Beats using the USB port. Great product!

I tried many USB-C to hdmi/usb adapters. Lots felt cheap, and USB didn't work to power my plug in CD drive. Another model I tried, the hdmi would flicker. Everything feels solid on the Apple multi port adapter, and feels like it will last. Cost a little more, but its worth it.

This adapter does exactly what I needed it to do. It is expensive at first glance, but working in the video and audio world that's something I'm used to. I've rarely had problems with Apple adapters, so I've got confidence in the brand and that makes the price a non-factor.

it was my first time to purchase an open box item and I would say that it was a good buy.it came with the box and was packed neatly like it was brand new. after this sale I think I'm gonna consider buying open boxes already since it's gonna save you a couple of bucks.

Its annoying that apple made it so you have to get these attachments in order to use what use to be permanent ports in the older laptop models - hdmi, usb, etc. but it is what it is, and this item has functioned exactly as it should without any problems at all.

Although the MacBook Pro is a great laptop, the new versions now lack ports outside of the USB-C realm. This little adapter gives you a USB, HDMI and USB-C port to play with. I like to think of it as a mini dock (if you were to add a USB to Ethernet adapter to the USB slot).

We had recently bought the go pro hero 5 and my husband needed the adapter for his iPad Pro. Apple is top of the line and there products show that. We are a Apple household and this adapter gets the job done. we are very satisfied with our purchase and highly recommend it

We purchased a MacBook Pro for my daughter and found out that we needed an adapter to be able to use a flash drive. My husband wanted an genuine Apple product so after receiving some help from the staff at the BestBuy in Douglasville I purchased this one.

A great product but not what I needed. I bought a MacBook Pro and thought I could use my firestick. I purchased the product because I thought I just needed an HDMI to get the firestick to work and tried it. It did not work, so if you are getting this for your firestick to work on your MacBoook please don't!

Bought my new MacBook Pro and it has only 2 USB-C plugs. I purchased this the NEXT day - a must have to connect 'most' of your things. Works great with my all my cameras. Buy it with your MacBook Pro and your all set . Don't waste a day - just get it when you buy you Mac.

While some people have issues with the new MacBook Pro choice of ports, the AV adapter essentially works as a docking station for me, allowing me to use my monitor, keyboard and charging cable on one USB C port. I have had no issues driving my 4K monitor so happy so far.

Apple has found a way to make more dollars by not have the USB or HDMI ports installed right in the laptop. Hence I needed to purchase the multipart adapter to make sure I could continue to use my flash drives. The unit works great. Glad it's available.

an easy way to get my 4k video editing projects to an external monitor for better views and mirror my audio/video projects when a client insists on hanging over my shoulder... also got it open box, so i paid about $20 less than the ***** store.

If you have a new Mac, check the number of ports you have and if you only have 1 port you will NEED this adapter or you will have to plug in to charge and unplug everything else you have plugged in to the USB-C port so you have to have this adapter.

Apple trying new innovations but way ahead of what you actually have to support mobile pc needs and suffice levels. I love having lots of cables and stuff hanging out of my laptop that's supposed to be sleek low profile and minimal on wares, not!!! All in all a serviceable device that fits the demand for USB and hdmi connectivity.

I actually use this a lot. It's great to be able to plug one thing in and have my monitor connected, computer charging, and any usb device I have plugged in at the time too. Feels like quality material as well. Apple did a good job on this one.
