we got this so we could play or wedding video for our friends and family. now we use it all the time when we want to watch something from online that we can get on our tv by only having cable.

Bought this adaptor only because my work provided iMacs to employees and wanted to hook up a second monitor. Would it be so difficult for Apple to simply add a video output jack on the back of their iMacs? An HDMI port would be hardly noticeable among the USB and Lightning ports.

Apple peripherals as always built to a high standard and are well designed. Over the many years using various other brands like Belkin, Apple branded products have never disappointed other than when abused (e.g. charge cables pulled too hard).

In its quest to help us understand what we need before we even know it, Apple's new MacBook has the new USB-C port which makes adaptors mandatory. The one is a little bulky and certainly limits the expandability of the new Mac. Will take some getting used to for presentations. Limited USB 2.0 and 3.0 expansion.

Works as expected. I haven't had any issues with this like have with other third party devices It is more expensive then others, but if you have the money and need something that will work 100% of the time, this is it.

With the new 2016 Macbooks, Apple has really condensed the number of input slots on the laptop. Thinking futuristically, the only inputs are 2 USB-Cs and 1 headphone jack. If you need other slots (HDMI, USB, etc) this product is necessary!

Typically well made, if a little overpriced, Apple adapter. Plan to buy one of these if you purchase a 12" MacBook with a USB-C port. An adapter is required in order to use regular USB devices and cables. This one can be used to charge the MacBook while also using an HDMI and USB port at the same time.

This adapter works perfectly to plug in my laptop at home to an external monitor and keyboard when in need of my 27" monitor. I travel a lot and use it on the road at hotels to stream sports through the hdmi port. I haven't had any issues.

With this multi port adapter I will be able to use my iPhone and my hdmi for tv. I understand that with this adapter I'll be able to do what I need without any problems. I recommend this product to anyone because of the flexibility it has.

It was very useful for my laptop to a TV when I had to go on a seminar training in Chicago I record in my notes that the class one back and put them in my laptop and watch them on the TV also I could connect my phone to the laptop and run it through the TV very useful

This adapter is great because it has three ports in one. I don’t need to have multiple adapters and now with the HDMI port I can hook my MacBook up to my projector to watch movies outside this summer. Love it.

This is a good quality )albeit expensive) multi-connector for ]the new macs where you only have 2-3 usb-c ports. Leave it to Apple to create an entire new billion dollar industry and no one complains.. wow, the power of great brand.

This multi port adapter makes your MacBook so much more versatile that it really is almost a necessary accessory for the MacBook. Very easy to use and you definitely do not have to be a computer genius to reap many benefits from having it.

When we recently bought a new laptop for my HS age daughter, she asked that we also get a device she could use to link her older tech to the new computer. The Best Buy associate suggested this device, and it has worked wonderfully!

it's an adaptor. what more can you say about an adaptor that you need. i mean sure, it's white. and it works, and it fits my adaptor needs. if that makes it great, then yeah. this is great.

I made the mistake of not buying the Apple brand of adapter thinking I was saving a few dollars. The off brand adapter didn't work at all. This adapter is worth the money- it's solid construction and is very handy to have.

This product is great! I know this technology is pretty new in most computers so it does crash every once in a while. Also some old USB devices won't work well with it because of how new this is. The HDMI connection works flawlessly!

WIth the lack of available ports on the newer Apple laptops I needed to buy an adapter which is rather annoying. This adapter allows me to charge my iPhone, run HDMI to the TV, and charge the laptop at the same time.

This product is great for mirroring your computer screen. I use it to watch movies and it works great. You can charge download and watch movies or play a game all at the same time. What’s not to love?!
