I haven’t had any issues with this. I got it because my Mac Mini only has 2 USB 2 ports. The length is a little awkward for my setup; I would have liked it just a touch bigger so it would lay down behind my desk better.

I had read multiple reviews that the adapted didn't work well, but I've had no issues with mine. I use it plug my 2016 12" MacBook to my TV via HDMI and charge at the same time, and it works flawlessly.

Certainly would have preferred not to have to purchase and deal with this extra bit of technology, but it definitely works as described. It does what it's supposed to do, and I adjusted to it easily.

This adapter is good. I would have appreciated having 2 USB ports instead the USBc one since the MacBook Pro doesn't have any USB ports. Doesn't make much sense to put a USBc port on an adapter you need to use because you only have USBc ports on your Mac.

This works so well. My daughter can now watch Netflix and other streaming services on her HDMI TV. Now she doesn't have to watch things on her tiny MacBook Pro screen!! She is very happy!

This is a must needed item. I had no idea that my Apple Computer did not have HDMI ports and USB ports. But after buying this I am capable of doing everything that I needed to do cannot live without it .

This adapter has been amazing. I use an external monitor so that I can have dual screens and it hasn't glitched once and I use it everyday! Highly recommend this over a USB-C to USB adapter any day!

Must have for the new MacBook pro. The multiports make it really useful for connecting my external drive, printer and tv. The first time you connect, it requires a first time set up but its super easy.

I mainly record and do audio engineering therefore this adaptor is 100% necessary for me as a producer and musician but also if you're trying charge anything with a regular USB cable like a phone.

This is a good HDMI adapter, works well. It is expensive. I wish Apple would have put a native port on the computer instead of forcing users to purchase expensive, ugly adapters.

I originally purchased a HyperDrive adapter for the MacBook Pro but very quickly realized that the essentials I needed came with this Apple product. I was also able to use my adapter with a case.

My 2016 MacBook Computer has four thunderbolt ports which require adapters for hdmi connection or USB 2/3 connection. This multiport solves some of the problems. It functions well and serves it purpose.

This Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter works great. It allows you to mirror your Mac or iPad display to your HDMI enabled TV or display.

Unfortunately, this dongle is the cost of sleekness and portability for the new 12" MacBook. While it would have been nice for the MacBook to have built in ports, it looks like the designers and engineers at Apple had to make some sacrifices for the form factor.

Being that the new Macbook Pro's do not have a: UDB port nor HDMI port, this product is a must have. All ports all-in-one adaptor makes it so much easier to transport as well.

Have not tried the HDMI out on it, but everything else works on it like it should. Love the fact that it also has a usb-c port on it so you can charge from the same port you have it plugged in.

Works just fine but bulky for what it does and pricey

Sad to need this $80 accessory to my 12" Macbook, but it is very helpful and allows me to do the things I want on my slim notebook. Works great. I doubt anything will go wrong with it. Apple lemons are rare.

Because new technology requires new adapters, this three in one is a handy tool such that I do not need three adapters. It allows my new laptop to access my older drives and devices. This is required since the new laptop has none of the older ports.

I'm actually surprised at how much this adapter costs - we just bought a new iMac for our church and needed an HDMI adapter. Thankfully Best Buy had it on sale, and it works really well for us.
