I bought a 12" MacBook, which has a single USB-C port. Since I wanted to be able to connect the MacBook to my external monitor, I required this adapter. It works as advertised. I'm able to connect my MacBook to my external monitor with no problems.

Cheaper devices available online from other manufacturers and they work fine with my macbook. But, when buying for others who care more about how it looks, works for that too.

I don’t like dongles, but hey but are we supposed to do, when Apple doesn’t include a hdmi connection that is needed fir my Wacom Cintiq. This does work with the Cintiq, which is nice.

The new Macbook pro does not have any USB ports. This on allows me to have several items enabled at the same time. Glad that Best Buy had it so I could use it right away!

I use this for my MacBook and it’s been helpful especially during presentations and when I’m out on a trip. High quality considering how these apple cords easily break.

THIS CABLE WAS TO USE FOR A CONNECTION FOR A LAPTOP AND DESKTOP. WASN'T SURE HOW OR IF IT WOULD WORK BUT IT DID AND MY BOSS WAS HAPPY!

This adapter would be complete if Apple included a passthrough for someone to plug their USB-C charger into it as well, so you have to make sure you start off with a full charge before you get serious with the peripherals plugged into your 2015 MacBook.

This is just what I needed to connect my new MacBook Air to a monitor or TV and charge my computer at the same time. I also like the additional USB connection.

I bought this to go with my new MacBook 12". It has made things much easier for me by giving me access to a USB port (the laptop does not have one). If you use a USB at all, this product is a must!

Now I can use my iPad to watch DirecTV on the hotel TV. So many hotels have cable TV that is not as good as DirecTV. Watch my shows while traveling and dump the hotel's cable service.

I don't like things dangling from my beautiful mac, but if I have to connect a display I would prefer this over loose adapters/docks. If you can afford, dell usb-c dock is a good choice. My whole office uses those

This adapter has worked on every device I have attached it to so far. I've used it to connect my Mac and iPad to big screen TV's and it hasn't failed to work yet.

Not really much to say except it is an adapter for my MacBook Pro. I hate that all connections for the new MacBook has changed, but I expect that with every new product they have.

I purchased this new dongle because the 2016 MacBook Pros do not have the old HDMI or usb ports. The adapter does just what it is advertised to do. It could be listed at a better price point though. I would shop around for a cheaper version.

I bought this but returned it because it has minimal ports. I purchased a hyper extension that plugs into both ports since I'm normally running more at one time. Good product, just not for those with high demand from their computers.

A must have if you purchase the new Mac products that have no USB ports. Pain that I have to have it or use this for any USB plug ins. But until all other technology catches up to the newer ports ...you have no choice but to purchase this.

This adapter gives me all I need to connect to my printer and my television, as well as charging/connection to my iPhone. I love it, on tool for multiple functions, worth every penny.

Bought my first mac book and i didnt know it didnt have all the ports like in this adapter. But super thankful for this adapter, and lucky it was on sale when i bought it

The adapter works well. I sometimes have an issue with the external monitor not waking up after the laptop goes into sleep mode. I do not know if this is a function of the laptop (Lenovo Yoga 900) or the adapter connected to the USB C port
