Beside it being ridiculous that Apple has made this computer configuration to help sell more accessories, the product works fine. No problems at all even when I bought one that was open box for $20 cheaper than brand-new.

Just what I needed to connect the MBP to my large monitor and still have a thunderbolt port and a regular USB port. AND, even better, it was an "open box" item. I'm a happy camper.

This Macbook Pro adapter has three functions: Charging, USB-C, and USB, and this is so convenient.

We needed to get an updated connector to enable a new MacBook Pro to connect to the TV in your son's dorm room. This fits the need and I tend to but Apple accessories due to their willingness to standby their products.

With Mac moving to all usb c connections, an adapter like this is essential. I have one on my desk and keep one in my bag, just in case. The only way to make this better would be to add an sd or micro sd reader.

Come on Apple, this should be in the box when you purchase a Macbook Pro, because your previous generations CAME with power, HDMI, and USB ports :). But yes, this works great.

I bought this right when I got the laptop, seeing as it does not have the USB built in it was something I felt that I would want to have sooner rather than later, and it is perfect.

Again this is an apple product. So it is over priced. However I got it when I got my new PC. Based on all the brands they had, I knew I could not go wrong with an apple product.

I purchased this as a second monitor options for my MacBook pro. I am able to close the lid and work from my two 27" monitors. It's a better quality than the Insignia one.

It just works. I travel and need to present slides at many locations, and having this available for video and my mouse controller in one connection is nice.

You need this adapter to get more ports it’s very small and compact being a separate cable is better than a dongle will not have the issue of breaking off in your laptop

If you are buying a MacBook you must have this dongle. It has a USB, USB-C, and HDMI port allowing you to connect to a monitor, charge, and add another accessory to the usable USB port.

Dongles and Mac’s are synonymous, as all Apple product owners know too well. This particular dongle is essential and crucial for full MBP functionality!

I love this Laptop! I have not had a single problem with it yet. It is also perfect for editing pictures and videos, If you are a creator. I recommend this product to everyone!

This works as advertised. It is a very easy setup to put your mac desktop onto the TV display. Works well for demonstrations and presentations at the office.

Owned one I phone, one iPad and an iPod and 2 iPod shuffles. Added the mac book, another iPhone and iPad and Apple TV to the mix. With this, I can plug everything into everything.

Although I don't necessarily think the computer needs to be oh so thin, I appreciate the fact they this three way adapter is available so I only had to buy one additional accessory.

I hate that the machines don't have ports and they FORCE you to buy something to make USB items work or even an external monitor but its a handy piece for sure!

Are needed peripheral for the Mac If you have to add another screen you need to have an item like this but this also as the ability to use USB so why not have it in one
