Adapter worked well for connecting existing accessories to new MacBook Pro laptop.

This product works as described. You'll be able to connect USB 3.0, HDMI, and the power cables to the MacBook at the same time. But at $79 this product is outrageously overpriced, even by Apple standards.

I needed to connect old peripherals and a projector. This was just what I needed to keep on doing my work and it takes up very little space.

With the MacBook, I was worried only having a a usb-c port, but this connector works great and meets the needs for presenting. Great addition!

I was disappointed with this purchase because I'd wanted a OTG cable that allowed me to attach an external thumb drive (which it does, both for a phone as well as for my new tablet), but the other essential piece was to be able to keep charging the phone and tablet while playing content off the thumb drive. Sadly, this combo only works with my Galaxy smartphone. For the tablet, yet is does allow the thumb drive to be attached and it works, but charging is not supported. So I'm half satisfied.

I bought this when apple dropped support for displaylink. Not nearly as nice as a single hub but it’s able to daisychain and displays well

functioning of this dongle is like playing craps. sometimes it works , sometimes it doesnt. Apple claims " This adapter allows you to mirror your MacBook or MacBook Pro display to your HDMI-enabled TV or display in up to 1080p at 60Hz or UHD (3840 by 2160) at 30Hz. It also outputs video content like movies and captured video" However connection to external monitors is flaky at the best. Sometimes the macbook pro crashes and sometimes the HDMI connection cuts out. As fpr External hardrive connection. even apples own pre 2011 superdrive is not compatible....

Works well, love that I can hook everything up into one and plug one cord in daily. I have a printer, power, and HDMI monitor on one and its great.

The adapter works fine. Not much to say here. It's too bad Apple keeps changing the connections but they are supposedly improvements so it's fine.

I really like the diverse plug ins for this adapter. Considering that the 12" MacBook only has a single USB-C port. I only wish that the adapter had more USB 3.0 ports. One could always use a hub.

Connecting old external hard drive to new Apple computer. Does the job!

With technology changing as rapidly as it does, it's necessary to have all the essential adapters to stay connected and this is a great item for that.

I'm glad I spent that extra premium on this adapter. It's a well-built quality product from Apple. It does its job as expected.

This adapter is overpriced but works great. We use it with our iPhones and iPads with our mini projector and they work great.

I got the single USB dongle and was not happy with it. This gives you the ability to hook up to a monitor while charging the laptop

I bought this primarily for the HDMI port, but the USB-C and standard USB ports are a nice bonus. They all work without issue for me.

This adaptor makes the one USB-C port way more usable. Best part is that you can charge your computer while using the USB. It's a little pricey compared to other brands that I found online.

I purchased a knock off on amazon and it didn't work. I'm afraid sometimes you just have to give in and spend the extra. This was definitely worth it!

If you purchase a 2016 or newer MacBook Pro, I highly recommend this accessory. It allows you to use USB 3 items and contains a HDMI port. Remember, newer MacBook Pros only have USB C ports.

I like that this has 3 different things to connect to my laptop. All of them work for my needs, but I do wish that the headphone jack was on here as well so that I wouldn't need a separate one.
