    You really have to push your cord into the slots, but at least they aren't easily knocked out. A necessity for most basic devices I use on my MacBook

    The new MacBook Pro only has the new ports so you have to have adaptors for everything. ( That's right I am a bit annoyed) I got one since there is no real choice in the matter if you want to use normally priced peripherals that you already have. If would be a big improvement if it had at least one more USB port. There is room on either side of the cord, and actually two more USB ports would be easy to add and would not appreciable increase the weight.

    The new makes really don't have any ports. So you need this to do things. like plug in a usb etc...
