    Apple should sell this with reduced amount since new MacBook pros comes only with usb 3.1 type c. It's not fair to pay another $50 for adapter after spending $2k+ for a computer. Item gets warm while using it to connect external monitor through hdmi. Although the monitor has it's own power supply it seems battery draining fast when using this adapter. Also it would be good if there is a port for sd card. I think this adapter is overpriced.

    I received quicken and the usb adapter in a timely manner. Quicken software was very easy to download and navigate. The usb c works very well.
