    My MacBook has a single USB type C port. I purchased this adapter so I could connect a projector with an HDMI cable. The adapter also has a single USB port. I gave this 3 stars because the USB port is too close to the HDMI port and it is expensive at $79.00.. I am not able to connect my wireless pointer fob in the USB port and the HDMI cable at the same time. Had to purchase a separate USB hub to make things work.
