Don't kid yourself--Apple cables are worth it

Glitchy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an iPhone 12 that worked flawlessly with my vehicle for CarPlay (my car doesn’t support wireless) with a lightning cable. I bought this adapter to use with my new iPhone 15 so I can use CarPlay, and it does work, but after a few minutes CarPlay stops working and i have to unplug and replug it in to get it working again. I’ve tried it with both an aftermarket lightning cable and an Apple lightning cable with the same result. What a waste of money.

Super thick, may not work with some applications

Half of this adapter is thicker than the typical ipad at the lightning connector so it wouldn't fit in the register. While this wasn't necessarily advertised as working with the square register, if this is to be a true accessory to bridge the gap between lightning and usb c, they could have worked to make it a little slimmer at the lightning input end so it would be more useful across the board. If it wasn't so thick it would be a 5 star product.
