    Mandatory clunky add on for any USB device to attach to New MacBook. I'd much prefer slightly thicker lap top that would allow regular USB

    This thing is not worth $80.00, but there is not really another option. My biggest complaint about the new macbook is that this connector is so expensive. It generally works well. Sometimes after the screensaver goes on the second monitor can get fuzzy - works again after you unplug and plug back in. I would recommend it to a friend if you have to hook this computer up to a monitor and charge it, because it is the only option right now.
