These cords wear out so fast where cord meets plug, no choice though.

It is as advertised. ut works for my iPod classic and my first gen iPad too!

old cable was worn out from rubbing on clove box door needed a new one

I wish they would make heavy duty charging cables for the iPhone 4S. These cables wear and crack at the ends and need replacing about every 6 months. I am hard on charging cables since I carry them in my pants pocket for charging throughout the day. I have never found heavy duty charging cables for the iPhone 4S.

Sturdier than most "knock off" brands. Would recommend buying.

These work well but they don't last long. The wire always break at the end where you place in the phone and the other part of the cord looks good. On average you can spend slmost $50 to $100 more each year because of this cord. They need to fix this.

I bought this adapter because they didn't have a charger available for 4s. In 2 years, that I've owned my 4S, I have gone through 3 chargers. They don't last that long. I tried chargers from other brands but they were worse and didn't even last for more than 2 weeks. I didn't have any choice but buy my 3rd apple adapter / charger.

Used a generic cord for my IPad but this one works the best.

I have an older phone (4S) so I was happy that Best Buy still had this in stock. However, the cable wore out quickly and broke near the part that connects to the phone, which is where the original one broke also as did the second one. I would have thought that Apple would have been able to produce a better quality accessory.

I purchased this item to be able to use my phone in my car! Worked out great!

I would have give this a five star. I purchased two and one of the boxes is empty .
