This cord should not cost the same as the new lighting charger. Still the best cable for charging.

Needed a new charging coed for my iPad 2. So got a replacement charging cord. So far works good.

I had bought an off brand product for less than half the price. It did not work well, so I bought the Apple brand which works well. Cost more but worth the price.

This is the most basic of accessories. Useful, expensive, but not so expensive as to be avoided.

The ONLY charger I will buy for my ipad. All other chargers quit working or "are not supported" within a week of purchasing. Went through 4 other "brand" charges within 2 weeks...garbage. Bought Apple brand charges & they lasted 6 months!!! (We go though a lot of charges.) Very RELIABLE!

The cable works just fine and the staff in the store assisted us in selecting the correct product.

I had purchased a cheap knock-off cable elsewhere which lasted two weeks before failing. I decided to get a quality cable and headed for Best Buy. It was a good decision, as the cable is functioning reliably. Also, Best Buy price-matched this item, saving me a few dollars.

I love it, and I don't see how it could do better. I like to keep one of the "old fashioned" charge connections on hand, since I have an older iTouch I still use. I use the adapter when I want to use a lightening charger. The connections work perfectly. Not much else to say.

Okay so you think I'm crazy. Well I'm not ! Just keep them just for you! Hide them in a cookie jar, okay maybe not there, but have one or more available for you after your grandson borrows it, and forgets to return it. ( Sorry Grandma) I'll bring it back next summer!

Seems like the aftermarket cables always go bad and am force to go back to Apple. The original cable was lost and replace with aftermarket one than didn't work have the time so back to the expensive apple one. Works great. This cable is getting harder to find especially with apple changing connectors on a regular basis.

Good apple product but costly. I would like adapters to have at least 1ft of length.

What can you say about a cable? It does what it is supposed to and hasn't fallen apart yet. It is an Apple brand because that is what I wanted to go with my iphone!

This is a product that you might have a hard time finding one of these days, since the 30-pin input is no longer standard for any Apple devices. However, if you are like me, and you still have and regularly use older Apple products, you may want to invest in a couple of these genuine Apple adapters so you'll always have one on hand. Yes, they are pricey when compared to a $5 off-brand that you can get at the checkout line of the grocery store, but they are made for Apple by Apple, and run much less risk of damaging your (much more than $5) i-product!

The cat chewed through another one of my charging cords, so I needed to get a new one. After having issues with 3rd party brands, I figured I should bite the bullet and get an actual Apple brand charging cord. Went to Target and Staples (in the same strip mall) and neither sold them anymore; figured I'd check out Best Buy, even though they didn't have them last time I looked, and was pleasantly surprised to find it. TL;DR, it works great, hasn't fallen apart yet - always hide it whenever I'm not using it so the cat doesn't chew it.

After eight years, my original cable just ran out of steam. I like original Apple products and so replaced ole reliable with a new, original Apple cable. Is and works just like the original.

Works as expected. Good replacement part for original cable.
