What can I say about this gem of technology that hasn't been said before. It's great for syncing my iPhone and iPod Classic to my home computer to share media (music, video, pictures, apps), and also allows me to plug it into a USB power source to recharge my iPhone/iPod. But, wait, there's more. In a pinch, you could use this to hold up your pants if you found yourself without a belt. You could use it as a garrotte to strange a ninja (if you could actually sneak up behind him). Oh, and you could also use it as a tourniquet around your arm/leg if you were bleeding out. Just think of all the amazing things you can do with this multi-purpose tool!!! If you don't own one, you should start asking yourself why you have not noticed how incomplete your life is already without it?

I have tried off brand cables for Apple products and I can tell you your money is better spent getting actual Apple cables. They last as long as three of the off brand cables.

In short, I like the reliability of the Apple products. I have tried using the $5 cables and accessories, but they fail after a short time. In the long run, it is less aggravating to buy the name brand product. Never had an issue syncing with this cable unlike some of the others!
