I now have a Apple iPad and needed to replace the cord

I tried going cheap and buying a knock off cord from my local quick mart. Burned out and took twice as long as my apple cord.

I have an iPad for my job. Everyday, I take it to and from work. The cord is too easily nicked or broken just my being in a bag with papers and books. For such and expensive product (iPad), I would expect Apple to make their cord more durable. However, I suppose that would defeat the purpose of making people buy replacement parts!

The cable is exactly as advertised. Price was a little on the steep side for a cable that has limited use.

I wanted an extra cable to keep in my car for charging my iPhone when needed. More expensive than the after markets but I've never had a problem with my Apple cords but have with less expensive ones.
