I bought this to replace my broken cell phone charger. It is working well.

Have a older IPad that stopped charging well. Really hadn't used the iPad in awhile. Going on long road trip and all the kids needs something. I realized the cable was some after market cable. I went straight to best buy and got an Apple cable and brick. Charged in 1/3 the time and the kids are happy. It was also on sale. Money well spent.

Hopefully it won't have to be replaced at the one year mark like clockwork. The only reason that I recommend them is that they work great until the cable starts to fray.

Purchased for my daughter's iPad mini after the original cord frayed. She used this one, only at home, and the cord grayed after one month. This seems to be the same with all apple cords though.
