This is a apple charger that works with older generation ipads. This apple product is great.

I tried some other manufacturers, but the apple original charging cable is the best so far.

Do you really want to buy cables from the guy on the street corner? Its not worth it. Apple products should have genuine apple cables

I always uses only Apple manifactured products for Apple products. But for me after one yr of using the sync wire is going tone broken I mean it the white cover on above is damaged and I am able to see the internal wires.

Works fine. I just replaced the cord and not the charger plug. Still need that because it smelled like it was on fire.
