Not sure how long apple will continue selling with the transition to the new cords, but I plan on stocking up on them for my classic iPod. They've lasted me an average of about 4 years.

It does a great job. No complaints about the cord.

You can never have too many. If there is one complaint I have it would be the fragile nature of these cords.

My old cable frayed and eventually stopped working. I keep this one in the car and so far has survived summer and winter weather without any issues with charging or nicks in the cable.

I was super excited at the price at the time because I feel like these are usually expensive. The free months of Apple Music was awesome that came with it at the time. Really allowed me to listen to alot I don't own and actually bought alot of iTunes music one the trial ended. The adapter does what it is supposed to do and I needed a replacement so I was definitely happy with this one. I always prefer to get the branded products and not some 2nd or 3rd party so super pleased with this purchase.

And I say this because other brands of cables always seem to break or just stop working a few months or less after purchasing. This cable is very reliable.

Connects as expected, charges quickly and has kept working without a problem. Seems durable! Bad part is that it shows dirt like crazy!

I bought this for my old "iPod Classic" that I've had for years. It works well with that item. It charges, and allows for data to be transferred between the computer and the iPod.

It’s longevity and durability is not anything like the non-Apple iPhone charger cords. It has lasted longer than the one that came with the iPhone.
