I tried other cables and found that the genuine cables work best. I have no problem at all with the cable and adapter. I would recommend even though they are a bit spendy.

I have bought tons of cheapy cords that break, stop working or charge poorly. This product is made by Apple and will charge faster than the cheap cords and hold up to wear. Worth the extra expense.

I needed to replace my existing USB recharger cable and was thinking of shopping online to do so, but my instincts told me that I'd have similar luck in going to a brick-and-mortar and was happy to find a real Apple product. Of course, you will pay more than for a knock-off item but it is made well and was reinforced at the points where wear and tear had taken its toll on my older piece. Thanks to Best Buy, I replaced my cable the same day and will not hesitate to visit them should I need to get more things. Please keep your stocks available for purchasers like me - not everyone will go online because it still needs to be shipped!

The Apple cables I've used have been increasingly durable with each. Granted, these cables won't last forever. But, if you take good care of them, they'll last a long time.

Though this was a bit pricy it was well worth it because it saved me money in the long run after wasting money having to continue to buy cheap ones that would just stop working

I suppose the question should really be why did we have to replace the charger after only a years use.....

Tried cheaper competitors, but you have to go with Apple for the durability. Does what it's supposed and doesn't break when my younger children walk away without unplugging it.

No problems , works very well and didn't cost a lot . I like the white cord easy to find when i need it

This is a great cable, but just a bit short for my liking. In our house, our outlets are JUST too far away to use be able to use our products during charging...but overall, would recommend.

The device works just fine with my IPad. The price is slightly higher than I found on the Internet, but it was readily available in the store. I did not have to wait for it to be shipped.

This is the only cable that charges my iPad, however, I have to buy a new one every year or two.

Replacement for a generic brand that last only for a couple of weeks, this has been used almost a year now and no problem so far. Save time and money-get the original apple accessory.

Needed a replacement cord. Had purchased an inferior aftermarket cord elsewhere that did not perform. Purchased the Apple factory replacement and it worked great!

The power cord for my ipad was a great investment. I recently bought a cheaper version and it charged really slow. This one was more compatible.
