Purchased this along with a cable to charge an IPad. Both work excellent for the use that I needed them for.

I tried a after market usb power adapter and it takes longer to charge my cell phone I will stick with the Apple brand

If you have an apple, go with name brand. It wont screw up your device like other ones can. Plus, it will last longer

If you appreciate the investment you made on your iPhone, you should consider only using original apple power adapters. I purchased this one to replace a stolen one.

I've never had issues with an Apple charger,, only when non Apple products have been used. It's not worth the trouble to maybe save a few cents. Always choose Apple

Apple product so no issues. Needed an additional adapter and non-Apple units don’t seen to hold up over time. I’m sure this one will.
