    I bought a Bose portable speaker and it included a power cord with a USB connector, but required an adapter to use household current. I read reviews and ordered this Apple-USB Power Adapter. It works perfectly--it even charges my iPhone! The photo shows a small black cutout where you insert the USB plug; it's not there on the actual adapter.
