    I've purchased many off brand chargers because they were less expensive than this Apple brand charger. Well....I've probably spent as much as I would have if I bought this one in the first place. They don't last and they aren't as compact. The only reason I needed a new charger is I left mine in a hospital room. I went back the next day and it wasn't in the "lost and found". Somebody saw a good deal!
