    While you get a new one with your phone purchase it is always good to have a backup I have found That the often Apple brand are cheaper they do not hold up as well as the Apple made

    Needed the plug. A cord comes with new iPhone, however had to buy a plug in order to use the cord.. Everything working fine now.
