We've had AppleCare before but it seems pretty pricey for this product. After the initial cost of $50 there's a service cost of $65. So you'll practically pay half as much for the protection plan as you do for the product.

I only purchased this in case my $360 watch ended up getting crushed during an outside activity. That's a lot of money to spend just because a bike accident crushed your watch when you can hedge your bet with this.

It’s a waste of money I bought it and I didn’t use it before I changed my phone and I had to buy another one for full price the value did not transfer

I bought this plan because I didn't want my watch uninsured. You still have to pay for repairs if the watch breaks. My brother got a Samsung watch that is covered by geek squad and his repairs are free.

I wish I had not wasted the $50. Although I'm sure I wouldn't in the future if it was to break, I feel like Apple is made with the best quality so it's very unlikely that it would break within two years

Previously this was not worth getting as Apple would replace your new stuff with soso refurbs. Now it’s replacing watches with better quality. You better be a klutz to get this

Like any insurance, it's "just in case" your watch needs to be replaced. In the event that you need to have your watch exchanged, you must pay a service fee, and it's for one replacement only.

Broke the screen on my watch and they are able to repair this, the only thing is that you have to wait at least 6 weeks.

This is a costly service plan, and there is still a substantial cost to use the warranty. Unfortunately, watches are easy to break which makes the warranty potentially necessary.

Naturally, it's overpriced. Luckily the product never failed or anything. But, I recommend it, because it help if there's an issue.

Pricey but hopefully worth it if need to use this for damage although they charge an additional fee for cosmetic damage.

...technology gone so fast really doesn't need any protection at all...if its last for two year without breaking it just get an newer model on same item if you like to have continue.

I’ve had apple care for years , on every device I’ve owned and never have had to use it. A waste but a peace of mind too.

I purchased the plan for my teenage son. I am trying to see if we can use it to upgrade because the watch is now outdated.

Not a huge fan that I have to make an appointment with Apple if something happens to my watch instead of being able to go back to Best Buy. I'm 50/50 about getting it.

More expensive than other options. Has deductible which other plans don't have

I’m don’t like the high deductibles. I thought I didn’t have to pay a deductible when I made a claim but I did.

We never had any issues with our Apple product so didn't have to use. Always nice to have extra protection though.

Apple Care is 50/50, they wont fix anything, they just replace. Which is worth it if you paid a lot.

In my opinion, $80 is too high of a deductible. Especially if the damage was not accidental, but part failure.
