I would never own a apple product without apple care.

I wasn’t sure if this investment would pay off when I purchased it but boy was I wrong. My kids are generally very gentle with their electronics however by boy was wrestling with another child and damaged his phone. We made appointment with Apple care and they fixed on the spot. What a great service!

If you are buying a phone for a teenager, I definitely advise Apple Care. I paid for the phone, but made the kiddo pay for the Apple Care, and for repairs under the repair policy. Coming up on the end of our 2 years, and between cracked screens and a software issue, we've been very happy to have it.
